Do you have a football fan in the house? Then maybe it’s time to kick off the season with a football party! I’m a huge football fan, and since my little man has inherited my love for the game, we gathered together to celebrate our favorite sport with a fun football party. I’m excited to share all the fun details from our big game day!
Let’s kick things off!
The Decorations I decided to stay team neutral with our party and just focus on all things football (referee stripes, footballs and yard lines). For my backdrop, I hung the Football Field Tablecloth and striped paper. I'm loving the black and white stripes lately, and they are perfect for football parties! I set up a large table for the food, topped with a Black & White Striped Table Runner and a few School Spirit Black Foam Hands for all the fans.
The Black Tassel Garland reminded me of pom-poms, which added lots of fun to my table when paired with the cute Football Party Pennant Banner.
I dressed up Clear Glass Milk Bottles with Jersey Bottle Covers and Black Striped Paper Straws
Aren't the Referee Bottle Covers cute? I love the little whistle!
Team Spirit I set another table out so everyone could enjoy the food while watching the game. No one likes to eat on their laps, after all! Each table setting included a foam hand, pom-pom and a DIY Football Fan Bucket. See how easy and fun these were to make HERE.
Of course, my little football fan had to play the part. This kid means business! We all wore Football Face Tattoos, and they were so much fun!
The Food I filled Mini Black Striped Popcorn Boxes with popcorn and Football Popcorn Boxes with Black Buttermints (after all, we did eat lots of onions).
I made a big batch of the family's favorite Slow Cooker Chili and served it in the cutest Football Chili Bowls. See my easy recipe HERE.
I also whipped up my famous Kickin' BBQ Wings. Okay, maybe they're not WORLD famous, but my family thinks they should be! Check out my easy recipe HERE and give them a try!
Game Time! With our tummies full and our team spirit in high gear, we were ready to kick off the football season! Oh, and did I mention what a blast we had posing with the Football Photo Stick Props?!
