Fondue Themed Bridal Shower

Fondue Themed Bridal Shower

If you are looking for a unique way to celebrate a bridal shower (or bachelorette!), why not host a fondue party? Retro cool and super easy to pull off, it is perfect for a winter bridal shower.

The best part about hosting a fondue bridal shower is that there is very little preparation and your guests do all the cooking. Fondue allows everyone to enjoy a fun communal meal, filled with laughter and conversation as they wait their turn to dip into the melted goodness.

The Table

Start the table with a pop of glam. I used a White Table Runner with Gold Foil Edging down the middle of the table. These are a great option for a potentially messy fondue party, they come in a pack of 5 and are disposable!

At the center of the table place a communal fondue set. I got my fondue set as a wedding gift. I love it and they look fantastic in the middle of the table! A slow cooker set on low can also be used as the central fondue.

(Tip: A fondue set would also make a great gift for the bride to be on the day of the bridal shower.)

I placed the fondue set on top of a White Square Platter laden with chunks of bread, pretzels, meats and vegetables ready to be dipped into the cheesy fondue. Get my recipe for an Easy Three-Cheese Fondue HERE. I added Bamboo Skewers painted white with pink tips for guests to use as forks. The fondue is kept warm with a White Tea Light Candle.

At each end of the table I also placed additional lightly steamed vegetables and cured meats on Premium Plastic White Rectangular Serving Trays. Add Goldtone Candy Tongs as servers.

The Place Settings

I wanted to use a feminine, fun and vibrant palette for this fondue bridal shower. I used a pale pink with bright red and gold foil. I used gold foil for the cups and straws as well as Gold Foil Polka Dot Snack Paper Bowls I placed at the side of each setting.

I started with a pink & red charger set I had at home. Alternatively use the White Scalloped Charger and spray pink, adding optional red details.

I layered with a Premium White With Gold Ornate Plastic Plate, a Light Pink Dinner Napkin, Bamboo Skewers with painted tips and Mini Clear Appetizer Plastic Bowls for hot chili sauces and other spicy extras.

I still included Premium Metallic Cutlery for guests to chop items up or to eat from their plates.

At the top of each setting I placed a sweet fondue recipe box filled with my favorite fondue recipes...the "fon-du-mentals" for hosting a fondue bridal shower.

Don't Forget Dessert Bar

Mmmm! My favorite part of a fondue celebration. Dessert dipping.

Is there anything better than a Chocolate Fountain? The continual flow of chocolate waiting for the dipper to arrive. I laid the dessert bar with another gold trim table runner and placed the fountain on a Premium White with Gold Ornate Plastic Dinner Plate to catch drips.

In front of the chocolate I added a Long White Platter with individual servings of sprinkles in appetizer bowls.

I then used Macaron Stand as a display for delicious chocolate dipping options. Donuts, pineapple, strawberries, apples and marshmallows...oh my!

On the other side of the dessert bar I used a White Square Gift Box with Gold Foil Trim to elevate a small cake. The cake can also be sliced up and dipped into the chocolate fountain. Lastly, I added more fruits on a Silver 2-Tiered Server I had sprayed gold.

The Bar

I added a small champagne station to the festivities. Covering a small round table with a pink faux fur and a gold trim runner. Fondue-Bridal-Shower-Content-Vertical-2

First and foremost I added the fabulous Gold Glitter Drink Up Stand Up. Not that my guests needed a reminder, lol! I elevated the "drink" part of the sign using another White Square Gift Box with Gold Foil Trim and placed Gold Stem Champagne Glasses behind this.

The Backdrop

I used my mantel to set up my bridal shower backdrop with a large fondue pun printable as the centerpiece. You can find this and the other printables here.

I hung a soft Pink Ombre Garland across the front of the fireplace.

Then to the right of the poster I used a mix of fans from the Gold Hanging Fan Assortment with a large brie container I had at home. I picked this up from the local grocery store. I'm always asking for items like this once they finish with them, they make fun props.

In front of this grouping I added another printable and a Gold Metallic Vase with pale pink blooms.

On the other side of the poster a fun reminder to dip together using the Oak Letter Board Kit, more fans and flowers in Wide White Ceramic Vase with Gold Trim.

The last detail Gold Glitter Pumpkin Votive Holders as accents.
