With summer just around the corner, delicious fruits and veggies will be abundant. Why not incorporate everyone's favorite Saturday morning pastime - strolling the farmers market - into a bridal shower for the bride to be! With a mix of fresh, colorful flowers and ample produce, you can easily create this sweet bridal shower with a farmers market vibe!
Invited by Audriana created the sweetest gingham food labels that you can download! Be sure to download the Farmer's Market Printables here! I cut out the labels and attached them to mini chalkboards using glue dots. This is such a cute way to display all the delicious food at the shower.
Using white cake stands, place the food on each stand and position the mini chalkboard labels by each pedestal.
I lined chipwood baskets with gingham napkins and added a variety of juicy berries to the baskets. Guests will love nibbling on their own little basket of delicious summer berries!
Stack wood crates on top of each other, fill with produce and add the veggie chalkboard sign. Who doesn't love the look of fresh flowers in galvanized pots? Fill the pots with fresh flowers and adorn the table with flowers galore.
Embossed pint mason jars are dressed up with mint ribbon, red bakers twine and red polka dot straws. Place them on top of the wood crates and have the guests help themselves to a pitcher of strawberry lemonade to pour into the jars.
Hang large white canvas totes on the back of the guest's chairs and fill with flowers and other finds from the farmers market. Not only do these bags look adorable hanging from the chairs, the guests will love the sweet favor to take home and use the next time they go to the market. I used my cutting machine and vinyl to add the text to the bag but you could also decorate the bags with paint or write the text using black markers.
This darling banner designed by Invited by Audriana adds a sweet old-fashioned touch to the table. Be sure to download the Free Farmers' Market Printables here! I loved the farmhouse look of these wood frames with wire and wanted to incorporate them using the banner. I grabbed some bright colored clothespins and attached them to the sides of the frames using hot glue. Then I then strung up the banners on the frames using the clothespins to hold the strings of the banners.
Set the frames on a shabby chic chair or up against the table. Either way is darling!
Send your guests home with these mini wood crates filled with goats milk soap, flower seed packets and a sweet "Love is in Bloom" tag. Check out how to put together this charming favor HERE.
So enjoy a warm and sunny day at the farmers market with this delightful bridal shower for the happy bride to be!
