Your friends will score big with an invitation to this Fantasy Football Draft party. Before the actual competition starts on the field the ultimate fantasy team has to be drafted. So, let's invite friends over to sample different "drafts" before the draft starts.
Football is a big deal in our house. Our weekends in the fall are spent with friends cheering on our favorite team or hoping that our fantasy teams pull ahead closer to the big prize. And of course, there's always a little smack talk, friendly competition, and snacks galore. This year I decided the theme for our annual Fantasy Football Draft party would be an actual Draft Beer Tasting Party since football and beer go hand-in-hand.
I created a super simple snack station where guests can enjoy their favorite game day snacks and sample different beer pairings that go well with each one.
The large donut wall serves as the perfect place to hang giant pretzels. I simply used brown paint to cover the donut-themed words so that it would work seamlessly with our football party.

You can't have a draft party without a beer tasting. This year before we start battling it out to see who will end up on our fantasy teams we are trying samples of draft beer to see which one will be the #1 pick.
I used wooden tasting boards and Clear Glass Shot Glasses to create our draft beer tasting. Each guest was given their own board and poured a variety of draft beers to try. Guests were encouraged to select their favorites and rank them. Results were gathered from everyone and an overall winner was selected as the #1 draft pick for our annual Fantasy Football Draft Party.
While you don't need to create anything super fancy for your Fantasy Football draft party, it's always fun to put together a dedicated area where guests can gather. In this case, I set the table so each place setting was ready with paper goods, beer tasting trays, and koozies for our friends.
I also lined the table with a Kraft Paper Tablecloth Roll. I've found this makes clean up after a party so much easier! I used the Football Artificial Grass Table Runner down the center of the table to give it a pop of color and tie into our theme.
Next, I used the Chalkboard Paper Placemats and a white chalk marker to create football playbook placemats. Then I added all the fun football-themed paper goods.

You can organize and run your draft the way you normally do, or if you aren't interested in putting together Fantasy Football teams you can simply host a football draft party on Sunday and use the Football Betting Squares Chalkboard to make things a little more interesting and fun!
