Download the Free Fall Owl Paper Plate Craft Template here! This is such a fun owl craft and these festive purple and orange feathers make it a great craft for Halloween too! To make the craft, you will need three dessert purple paper plates. Cut a rectangle piece out of the top of one of the paper plates to define the owl ears and face. Then cut one of the additional paper plates in half to make owl wings. Staple the owl face onto the uncut purple paper plate. Bend the wings in half to help them be more flexible, then staple one wing on each side of the owl.
Cut out two yellow construction paper circles about 2-inches in diameter and two black construction paper circles about 1-inch in diameter. Then cut out a triangle owl beak from orange construction paper. Glue each of the pieces onto the owl face with a glue stick. Use glitter glue sticks to draw sparkly, scallop shape lines in the center of the owl body. Finally, with tacky glue, glue Halloween feathers onto each of the owl wings.
Hedgehogs are such a cuddly and cute animal that kids adore. Here's a fun way to create one out of a paper plate. Then, using your scissors, cut small triangles around the entire perimeter of the paper plate to create hedgehog spines.
