This school year has been one for the books. We started in the unknown and had to completely alter the learning environment. It is amazing the sense of community and learning that still took place and that deserves a celebration!
The students persisted, whether school was at home or at school. Our class motto was, "Just keep swimming.", and that carried us from the beginning of the year until the end. To honor that motto I got my students Kids' Animal Swimming Goggles.
Next, I did a little virtual award ceremony giving each student a unique award to fit them using the End of Year Superlatives Bundle. This set comes with 30 awards with matching laminated bookmarks. The End of Year Superlatives Bundle honor the students in fun and unique ways such as: "Technology Trailblazer" and "Astounding Attitude." During the last week of school we all have a fun time filling out this School Days End-of-Year Journals with their Pineapple Pens. This 20-page booklet is the perfect place for your students to reflect on this past year: the unique memories, their favorite read alouds, our virtual field trips and other memorable events that came about. If you have your class in person there is even a place for autographs.
After they are done working hard on their School Days End-of-Year Journals, they can earn the ultimate pineapple goodie bag, as a going away gift. Going along with the pineapple theme, I couldn't help but stuff these reusable, Medium Pineapple Drawstring Bags. They can use this all summer long on trips to the beach or road trips.
