Rainbows + fairies = the ultimate kid party. Tonya from Soiree Event Design planned this bold, bright celebration that includes DIY Personalized Fairy Wings Chairbackers and DIY Pixie Dust Fairy Bottles and homemade Fairy Wand Pretzel Sticks to keep kids entertained. To create the look for the dining table, she used a collection of Rainbow Party Supplies as well as items from a Fairy and Gnome Garden Set.

This fun twist on a girly woodland party featured by Hostess with the Mostess used whimsical cartoon mushrooms as a sub-theme that carried throughout the decor. The lunch food was cleverly themed after what woodland animals would eat -- salad greens, berries, pretzel sticks for "twigs", nuts and Sun Chips for "bark". A three-tiered cake with a custom-made mushroom topper was accompanied by DIY "fairy cakes" (see the recipe). For an activity, guests could paint a mushroom craft. Party favors included a box of treats and fairy jars filled with pink gumballs. (PS: Check out cute Fox and Mushroom Centerpieces, Mushroom Spin Tops and Lil' Fox Mushroom Lids with Straws.

Traditional fairy gardens are fun, but can prove expensive and challenging for little hands to put together without damaging the materials. These glitter painted rock fairy gardens by Made It Mommy let children create their own fairy garden without any hassle. Purchase rocks from a craft or landscaping store. Set out paint and brushes and allow kids to paint them as they see fit, then cover in glitter and allow to dry. Once dried, place painted rocks in a terrarium or fairy garden container with faux greenery and miniature fairies.

Rachel from Sprinkle Some Fun hosted this Tinkerbell woodland fairy party to celebrate the release of a new Tinkerbell movie. She cut pineapple into flower shapes and topped with kiwis and raspberries to create edible flowers, and placed cut cherry tomatoes and cheese dotted with sour cream on wooden rounds to resemble toadstools. She decorated the table with string lights with cupcake liners poked through to resemble twinkling flowers. For a craft, she created a pixie dust necklace using bottle charms filled with glitter and strung onto cord. Her daughter even got her very own Tinkerbell costume, complete with cute shoes.
