If Bruno had a Halloween vision, there’s no doubt he’d see Encanto as one of the top trunk-or-treat themes for Halloween this year – and with good reason! Encanto is such a beloved, feel-good movie, kids can’t help but be drawn to this trunk-or-treat theme. What’s even better, is you can create this magical trunk-or- treat look with the help of our Encanto Trunk-or-Treat Kits! Choose from our Value Kit or Deluxe Kit, whichever suits your needs – and your budget!
Encanto Trunk-or-Treat Value Decorating Kit
To create your Encanto trunk using the Value Kit, start by lining your trunk with the Sarape Fiesta Plastic Tablecloth. We used Mavalus® Tape to secure it in place.
Next, secure the Fiesta Metallic Ruffle Plastic Table Skirt to the car’s bumper.
Next, attach Realistic Photo Colorful Paper Fan Cutouts to the top of the open trunk lid and sides of the trunk area.
Finally, secure the Paper Butterfly Hanging Door Curtain to the top of the trunk, letting it hang down over the entire trunk, and add Schoolgirl Style Woodland Whimsy Butterfly Bulletin Board Cutouts to the paper fan cutouts.
Line the walkway up to the trunk with Fiesta Luminary Bags. We used three on each side of the trunk, and placed Gold Metallic Balloon Weights inside each bag to keep them in place. Don’t forget to add Disney’s Encanto Mirabel Cardboard Stand-Up to one side of the trunk to greet all your trunk-or-treat guests!
Besides popular Halloween candy, you can also add some fun Encanto-inspired handouts to your trunk-or-treat treasures. We stocked up on flower stickers, butterfly rings, sand timers and fiesta gummies.
Encanto Trunk-or-Treat Deluxe Decorating Kit
To decorate your trunk using the Deluxe Encanto Trunk-or-Treat Kit, you’ll create the base using the same steps above, but there will be some additions.
After you add the Paper Butterfly Hanging Door Curtain to your trunk, secure the Fiesta Multi Garland Swag over it.
You’ll also attach a Gold Glitter Photo Booth Frame to the Sarape Fiesta Plastic Tablecloth background. Remember to accent it with some Schoolgirl Style Woodland Whimsy Butterfly Bulletin Board Cutouts! Attach a Gold Battery Operated Candle in the center of the frame to complete the look.
As with the Value Kit, we used Fiesta Luminary Bags to line the walkway to the trunk, but this time we also added some DIY cacti. To make your own, use a hot glue gun to attach large green and lime green paper lanterns to Lime Green Round Paper Dinner Plates. The paper plates will serve as the bases. Next, attach Lime Green Mini Paper Lanterns to the tops of the larger paper lanterns. Some can have just one mini lantern, and others can have a couple. Glue them a little off center – no perfectly straight lines are needed here! Finally, accent them with Paper Flowers Party Décor.
Now place the Disney’s Encanto Mirabel Cardboard Stand-Up on one side of the trunk, and the Disney’s Encanto Isabela Group Cardboard Stand-Up on the other side.
For handouts, the flower stickers, butterfly rings, sand timers, and fiesta gummies are still perfect choices, but this time we put them in Large Metal Fiesta Pails so they are easy for kids to grab.
