Join us for a Columbian inspired birthday party with Mirabel and all the Magical Madrigals! There's won't be a single cloud in the sky during this bright and cheerful Encanto Birthday Party. We included plenty of marvelous Madrigal inspiration in our party ideas - from Isabella's flowers and Louisa's donkeys to Bruno themed cupcakes! With adorably themed Encanto party supplies, life-sized character cutouts, plus sweets and treats galore, this celebration is something you actually CAN talk about (Sorry, Bruno)!
As we know from the hit movie, Encanto, Madrigal family celebrations are full of vibrant colors and tropical, rainforest undertones. We wanted to ensure these colors and themes were incorporated within our party. The table was draped in a lilac table cloth adorned with an Encanto themed fabric layered with a gold glittered runner.
Each place setting was designed with a jewel toned Encanto dinner plate layered on top of a teal square paper dinner plate.
A glittering gold detail was placed between each layer as an homage to the casita and its glowing doors.
Small Encanto themed table confetti pieces were added to each gold element for extra flare.
Each guest sipped out of glass milk bottles decorated with more glittering gold details and Encanto butterflies. A teal and white striped paper straw tied into our bright color palette.
Resting upon Encanto beverage napkins sat delicious cookies made by our friends at Pink Skirt Desserts.
The cookies paid homage to some of our favorite imagery from the movie including Mirabel's dress, the iconic candle and of course, butterflies!
To the right of each place setting sat an Encanto luncheon napkin topped with a bright pink fork. We love how these napkins display several of the Madrigal family members!
Our centerpiece was full of bright colors, movie details and more!
At the center of the table sat a cake stand with the iconic Encanto candle that supplies the Madrigal family with their powers.
We created this simple look by using a flameless candle and a butterfly from the Encanto Hanging Decor Kit.
Next to the candle sat "Bruno Cupcakes". We created these adorable cupcakes to honor Bruno himself! With bold green icing and "prophecy" candy glass, these cupcakes are as delicious as they are fun!
To bring in more tropical detailing, we added in lots of florals inspired by Isabella! A mix of faux and real flowers were used to create this look. We layered wisteria, azaleas, peonies and more in with our real florals to get this cheerful look.
To highlight Isabella even further, we added additional florals to cactus vases as "something sharp, something new"!
We of course couldn't leave out one of our favorite Madrigal family members, Louisa! When planning out this event, we couldn't help but think of Louisa's adorable backup dancing donkeys. We painted our donkeys a golden yellow and mixed them into our floral centerpieces.
To create a lush looking backdrop, we lined our walls with tropical inspired paper. We dressed the table in a teal tablecloth and topped it with an Encanto themed runner layered with a gold glittered runner.
We displayed more of Isabella's florals on our backdrop. To create this look we arched both fresh and faux flowers (wisteria, azaleas, and peonies) over our dessert table. We also mixed in some Encanto wall decals, including the iconic Encanto butterflies.
A Mirabel wall decal was centered within our arch to pull the star character into our backdrop.
At the center of this table sat a colorful cake on a white cake stand for guests to enjoy! The colorful cake really tied into the theme perfectly.
The Encanto dessert plates were the perfect size for dishing out our sweets and treats.
We created Encanto favor boxes using pink favor boxes and Encanto centerpiece elements. By adding just a little hot glue and these custom favors were ready to go! Our guests enjoyed choosing a box with some of their favorite characters.
Additional cookies were layered onto a wooden platform decorated with gold glittering paper and Encanto decals to coordinate with the table. These cookies added just the right pop of color and of course were extra yummy!
Encanto paper cups were filled with tropical punch and sat on cake stands. A teal and white paper straw added a little extra fun to each cup.
Plastic Encanto tumblers were filled with popcorn and served as a fun favor for guests to bring home. Guests enjoyed nibbling popcorn right out of their cups!
Perhaps the most entertaining part of this party was the life-sized stand-up cut-outs of our favorite characters including Mirabel, Antonio and some of his animal friends too!
These life-sized stand-up cut-outs provided plenty of fun for posing and photo ops for our guests!
We hope this party gave you all the inspiration you needed to create a truly magical Encanto themed birthday party!
