Emoji Party

Emoji Party

There’s no denying, emojis are everywhere so why not celebrate anything and everything with an Emoji Party?

I admit, I tend to use A LOT of emojis when texting. I love them! So when I saw all the emoji parties popping up, I knew my kids would love an Emoji Party of their own! Using only a few items, our Emoji Party was a cinch to put together and oh so fun!

Let’s get started!

Emoji Party

Emoji Party Party Decorations: I always like to start my party decorating with a fun backdrop. This may have been one of the easiest backdrops I've constructed, ever! Made with paper plates and foam face pieces, I created 10 of my favorite emojis. I lined them in a row, just like on the phone screen. See my full Emoji Backdrop tutorial for the step by step instructions. To add a pop of color, I used a blue tablecloth and black and white striped table runners. Emoji Party I have a thing for tassels, tissue balls and paper lanterns. They all just make me so happy! I strung a tassel garland in front of my table along with my Emoji Banner. I then piled a bunch of yellow and turquoise tissue balls under the table with a few black and white striped paper lanterns. Emoji Party Party Treats: Popcorn is an absolute must at all of our parties, so I made some emoji popcorn boxes and filled them with kettle corn for the kids. Emoji Party Popcorn balls are another family party favorite, so I whipped up a batch of Emoji Popcorn Balls. See my easy recipe HERE. Emoji Party If you've been following my parties, you'll know that cupcakes are another party must-have. I lined a tray with yellow gumballs and added a few cupcakes topped with Emoji Key chains as toppers. Since the key chains are not deemed "food safe", I place a piece of wax paper between the cupcake and key chain. Emoji Party For the table centerpiece, I made a cake and frosted it with yellow buttercream frosting. I also added fondant eyes, rosey cheeks and a big smile. Isn't it cute? Emoji Party For more emoji fun, I hung key chains on paper straws in milk glasses. They look adorable and double as party favors! Emoji Party Party Favors: I can't have a party without a party favor or two. A few Plush Bouncing Balls and Emoji PEZ were perfect! Emoji Party Emoji Party We also made a few fun photo booth props with spare backdrop pieces. Emoji Party And that's it! Everything you need for a Happy Emoji Party. I hope you are inspired to create your own Emoji Party! Happy Party Planning!
