Emoji Classroom Birthday Celebration

Emoji Classroom Birthday Celebration

Classroom birthday celebrations are always fun in the classroom! They provide a way to bring some fun into your day and allow you and your students to celebrate one another. With emojis being all the rage with my 3rd graders I knew making our birthday celebrations emoji themed would get them so excited!

emoji-birthdayTo start off I ordered emoji pencils, key chains, notepads, suckers, buttons, beach balls, stickers, and cellophane bags. I assembled a bag full of goodies for all of my students ahead of time. This way they are ready to go when it is one of their birthdays! emoji-birthdayI also made sure to grab some of the dessert plates. These are perfect for when my students bring in treats to share with the class. You could use these for each student or just give the birthday boy or girl a special plate! emoji-birthdayMy favorite way to celebrate my students emoji style is the decorations! They are easy to put up and take down, don't require prep time, and can be used from year to year! I like to attach these paper lantern kits and streamers to the ceiling directly above their desk. This makes each student feel even that much more special on their day.emoji-birthdayTo top it off, I could not resist these adorable and hilarious emoji themed photo prop sticks. They come already ready to strike a pose! My class's favorites are the nerd emoji, the big eyeballs, the laughing crying emoji, and the thumbs up! emoji-birthdayI allow my students to take pictures with their classmates on their birthday using these photo props. You could also allow them to pick one to take home or just keep them to use each year!emoji-birthdayThey make great props for classroom photo booths too! Check out how to make your own HERE!emoji-birthdayMaking student birthdays special and memorable is something that doesn't take a lot of time, but it is something your students will remember and cherish forever!
