Do you have what it takes to be a North Pole Elf? Your students will have a great time filling out their very own Elf application. This colorful display will help to brighten your walls this holiday season. Students can assemble these cute elves in a snap, just peel and stick pieces together. They are so easy and fun, my students love using these pre-assembled craft kits. Be sure to download the Free Elf Application Printable here!
Download the Free Elf Application Printable here! Once our elves were complete my students completed their Elf application. They gave their Elf a name and persona. They gave reasons why their Elf would be the best Elf applicant for Santa. They made a pretty convincing case. Several had prior experience, were speedy wrappers, loved all things sparkly and most were frequently on the nice list.
Once all of the applications were complete I created this fun bulletin board by layering several border trims like the tree border trim and red chevron border. I love layering borders for a colorful effect. I added them on top of the wooden paper. I just love the different textures. To add some dimension I added tissue paper snowflakes and green polka dot fans to the corners. To attach the elves easily I used some burlap ribbon to create a place to clip my elves. This is a great way to interchange work without the hassle of redoing a board each time. It saves me a lot of time and frustration, especially when I exchange projects so frequently.
One of these lucky elves will become our classroom elf, I wonder which applicant will get the job.
