Princess Party Backdrop

To set the scene for our royal birthday party, I hung a beautiful backdrop that looked like fancy white and gold curtains with glitter gold draping across the top and sides. This was so simple to make!

Princess 2

I used push pins to hold white fabric in place at the ceiling line in the center of the room. I created my own pleats by overlapping the fabric as I hung it.

One each side of the white curtains I created gold drapes using the same process. Then I pinned some beautiful sparkly gold glitter sheer fabric to the middle center of the room, then draped the gold across and down the sides.

Princess 3

The result was such an elegant backdrop fit for the royal princess herself!

Pink foam roses (pulled off of the wire they came with) added to the pretty theme and covered the pins that held the curtains in place.

Princess 4

A custom princess sign in the middle of the backdrop read “Happy Birthday Princess Sienna” over a stunning pink and gold carriage.

I hung white fabric and draped it over the top of the sign, then used more pink flowers to match the others.

Princess 5

Pink Princess Party Table

A beautiful feminine pink and gold table was set up for the little princesses.

Princess 6

A fluffy light pink tablecloth looked like a flowy princess dress.

Princess 7

On the table sat a pink castle sign that read “Once Upon a Time” to reinforce the royal party theme.

Princess 8

Popcorn was served in gold glitter princess crown cups that were served on a white and gold cake plate.

Princess 9

A beautiful white cake was adorned with pink foam flowers at the base with a sparkly gold tiara on top.

Princess 10

The fancy gold cake plate fit the party theme perfectly!

Princess Party Place Settings

Our little princesses dined in style at their very own princess table.

Princess 12

A white kids table was covered with a gold glitter table runner that was taped to the top of the table.

A sheer pink table skirt looked just like a princess dress hanging down the sides of the table.

Pink fabric folded down the center made for an easy table runner.

Princess 13

Pink royal rose topiaries were show-stopping centerpieces and took literally less than a minute to make!

First, I placed two matching gold mercury glass candle holders in the center of the table.

Next, I placed a pink rose topiary ball onto each candleholder. No adhesive necessary!

Party 14

Last, I added a glittery sparkling tiara onto the top of each topiary.

Voila! Instant elegance in just seconds.

Princess 15

Each place setting consisted of a royal gold foil and pink carriage plate, once upon a time napkins, gold utensils, and a castle cup to drink from.

Princess 16

Bright gold tiaras awaited each princess and served triple duty as a decoration, an accessory for each girl to wear, and a party favor.

Princess 17

Royal Jewelry Station

When each little princess arrived, they headed straight to the Royal Jewelry Station, where they could choose items from the royal jewelry collection to wear and take home with them.

Princess 18

The girls loved how they looked in their gold and silver tiaras, gold jeweled rings (under the tiaras in the pink holder), and necklaces.

To top it off, each girl received a gold glitter magic wand to make all their magical dreams come true!

Princess 19

Carriage Photo Backdrop

Once the girls were all decked out in their princess accessories, they loved snapping photos in the princess carriage.

Princess 20

Our royal carriage was huge and matched the party sign above the table perfectly. The girls looked outside the carriage window for the perfect princess photo opp.

I hope you enjoyed our Elegant Pink and Gold Princess Party! It’s a fun way to celebrate a little girl’s birthday and make her feel extra special on her big day.
