Slime, it’s everywhere! This trend of making slime has gone viral. Not only is it appealing to elementary school age children, but it has really taken the middle school world by storm. In a world of electronics, this shiny, stretchy substance has kids mesmerized! We got in on the action and created 5 easy slime recipes! We’ve provided full instructions on how to make slime with glue and some great ideas on how to “dress up” your slime with lots of fun “add ins”!

- Measure out 1/2 cup of glue into a bowl.
- Add in 1/2 cup shaving cream (you really can add as much shaving cream as you would like. The more you add the “fluffier” your slime will be!)
- Mix together glue and shaving cream. Add in drops of food coloring until your desired color and mix. If you are planning to add in beads, glitter, etc, now is the time to mix those in as well.
- Slowly add in saline solution a little at a time and mix. The saline solution is what binds your ingredients and helps to make your slime “not sticky”, so keep adding until your slime pulls away from the side of the bowl.
- Remove your slime from the bowl and knead and stretch until it is your desired consistency.
