Tips to Plan the Ultimate Easter Egg Hunt

Set the Date, Time & Location

The first thing to do when planning an event – whether it’s just family and friends at your home or a community or church gathering – is to set the date and time. Save-the-Date fliers, an email or Facebook post on your church or community page are all great ways to spread the word. If you’re planning a community or church Easter egg hunt, this is also a good time to ask for volunteers to help. Volunteers are a great resource if you need assistance with planning, organizing the day-of Easter activities, purchasing the Easter egg hunt supplies, etc.

Location, Location, Location!

Your home’s backyard or front yard are perfect places for a smaller Easter gathering with friends and family. All those bushes, trees and plants are ideal hiding spots for Easter eggs! For a larger community or church Easter egg hunt, plan for plenty of open space so everyone can spread out and run around to find all those eggs! A field with taller grass is ideal or even an area with a playground is a great place to hide the Easter eggs.
