Grab your favorite girlfriends and that special bride-to-be and get ready to celebrate her upcoming wedding with a sweet and fabulous Glitz & Glaze Donut Bridal Shower! This bridal shower is filled with a variety of fresh-baked scrumptious donuts, displayed on pieces of unique and trendy DIY decor all while being surrounded by lovely hues of pinks and gold with some added sparkle for that touch of glam every party needs!
The Table:
Our modern, white table was set with six place settings which included a White Elegance Plastic Dinner Plate and a Clear Plastic Dessert Plate with our Glitz & Glaze plate printable in between the two. Be sure to download the Glitz & Glaze Plate Printable here!
This is an easy and inexpensive way to bring a fun and thematic detail to your place settings!
Guests began their donut feast with our homemade Champagne Donut. The donut is infused with champagne syrup and topped with a champagne glaze and white sugar crystals for a subtly sweet treat that no one can deny! You can find the full recipe here!
We customized White and Gold Foil Luncheon Napkins to say "I Do Say Yes to Donuts", because what bride can say no to donuts? We placed a homemade strawberry glazed mini donut with edible gold foil on the napkin for a surprise, yummy treat for our guests. Gold Metallic Utensils were made even more fabulous with a bit of Mod Podge and Gold Glitter. Simply add another layer of Mod Podge on top of the Glitter to keep the glitter in place.
A pink lemonade cocktail was served in Gold Foil Stemless Glasses with a coordinating Gold Striped Straw. These glasses come customized for the bride, maid of honor and bridesmaids and make amazing favors as well!
The Centerpiece:
Our DIY Donut Tower Centerpiece was set on a Gold Glitter Table Runner and was made of painted Planter Boxes that we turned upside down, covered in Gold Contact Paper, drilled holes to fit painted wooden dowels and then added a stack of delicious, towering donuts.
We topped the donuts with blooming Ranunculus and Gold Glitter Diamond Food Picks.
We added in the Love is Sweet Gold Decor Table Set to complete the gorgeous centerpiece. You can find our full centerpiece tutorial here!
We flanked two Mini Gold Glitter Favor Boxes detailed with Pre-Tied Elastic Gold Glitter Bows on either side of the centerpiece. These were filled with glazed donut holes and were given out as favors as well.
The Donut Wall:
Our favorite piece of decor and the focal point of our bridal shower was our DIY Donut Wall. We took an inexpensive piece of pegboard (found at any local hardware store) and used Wood Glue to add painted, Wooden Pegs and a Gold Contact Paper covered Stained Wood Sign detailed with Pink lettering to say "Glitz and Glaze"
The pegboard was decorated with a Faux Eucalyptus Greenery Garland, Faux Floral Stems, fresh color coordinating flowers and a few Gold Glitter Diamond Food Picks.

The Donut Bar:
Just in case you needed even more donuts, we created donut towers by drilling into five White Resin Candle Holders, adding Pink wooden dowels and stacking scrumptious classic cake donuts.
The towers were placed on White painted DIY Scalloped Trays covered in fresh greenery and flowers. A Light Pink Tassel Garland was added to the front of the table for a pretty pop of color.
