Create a holiday craft project to use year after year with this Farmhouse Inspired Wooden Tree craft. First, water down white acrylic paint and "white wash" the wood tree. Allow to dry. While tree is drying, make a tree topper bow with buffalo check ribbon and adhere to the tree with hot glue. Make a simple wooden bead garland and glue onto the tree using glue gun. Next, make a garland using baker's twine and washi tape. Cut one-inch pieces of washi and wrap around twine. Trim the tape. Adhere to tree using glue gun. Set your beautiful tree out to display and enjoy!

Choose your color palette and paint each slat a different color. We chose a bright pastel theme. Allow to dry. Make a wood bead and pom-pom garland by threading the baker's twine with a needle. Thread wood beads and poms onto the thread and adhere to the tree with a hot glue gun. You can even make a tree skirt using one sheet of felt. Fold the felt in half and cut into a circle shape. Cut an opening in the center of the fold so you can slip onto the bottom of tree. Using a glue gun, adhere white pom-pom trim to the edge of the tree skirt.
