You light up our life – now light up the dance floor! Create a super cute “bar” display of different types of glow sticks so that your wedding guests can adorn themselves in glowing style. Glow sticks add a youthful energy to any party and will definitely add brightness to your wedding dance floor. I chose to narrow it down to three "glowing" item options; necklaces, bracelets, and regular old glow sticks that your guests can turn into their own lanyards. Adding this type of unique detail to your wedding day is sure to entertain your guests and make for some truly fabulous photos!
The goal with the glow stick bar is to make it look just as cute when the lights are on and when they are off!
The glow bracelets come with their connectors separated so I used a black dinner plate on top of a large flared cylinder to hold them, fun right! To learn how to make this DIY centerpiece you can visit this post!
I decorated the table with hanging tissue fans that are only open halfway and added a few glue dots on the flaps to hold them down to the tablecloth.
Weddings are all about personalization so I LOVE this idea! Order custom wedding ribbon with your name and wedding date on it and then let your guests make their own lanyards with the ribbon and the glow sticks!
Your guests are going to have SO much fun with this idea... even I had fun by myself while I was setting it up. Glow sticks are like coloring books, they bring out your inner-child!
To add a little glow flare to the black and white striped table runner, I cracked 4 glow bracelets and wrapped them around the runner. To hold them in place I used a large safety pin on the backside.
Let's get the glowing dance party started!
