Of all the seasons, I’m always most anxious for the arrival of spring! Even before the first signs of spring arrive outdoors, I like to bring a bit of the season inside my home. This nature-inspired mantel decor captures all of favorite parts of spring – new blooms and greenery, butterflies, and birds singing! I incorporated a few DIY touches in addition to some pretty decor pieces to create this nature-filled spring look.
Spring Greenery I incorporated several pieces of faux greenery to form the foundation for my spring mantel. I started by draping this pretty boxwood garland across the top of the mantel, and then layered in green moss balls and grapevine balls.
Easter Accents The sweet lily long ears bunny serves as a focal point on each end of the mantel. They also provide a touch of Easter decor while being able to be displayed all spring long!
Floral Wreath I always like to hang a wreath over the large mirror propped on my mantel. This white floral wreath with a little bird's nest adds the perfect dose of spring!
Butterfly Decorated Bird Cage Bird cages aren't just for birds! I filled this decorative bird cage with lifelike feather butterflies for a simple DIY decoration for the mantel. You can find the full tutorial here.
Mason Jar Flower Box I wanted to incorporate some spring blooms without worrying about them wilting, and this faux greenery did the trick! I displayed the baby's breath in mason jars arranged in a painted wood planter box, and added some butterflies among the flowers. Find the simple tutorial here!
Floral Bird Vases These sweet ceramic bird vases might be my favorite spring craft that I incorporated into my mantel decor. I used rub-on templates to create color-your-own floral designs on the birds. Find out how easy it is to do here!
This was such a fun mantel to put together, and makes me so excited for spring!
