Planning a wedding or party and can’t decide on a color scheme? Why not just got for all the colors and use a Rainbow Theme! There’s just something so happy and festive about rainbows, isn’t there? If you’re looking for some Rainbow Wedding Inspiration you’ve come to the right place, because I’ve created a fun series of posts to show you how to create your own DIY Rainbow Candy Buffet for your wedding, shower or party! Because why choose one or two colors when you can use them all? I absolutely loved putting together this Rainbow Candy Buffet featuring Wedding and Party Supplies!
I really hoped to make this table arrangement as chic and modern as possible, so even though it features bright colors and rainbows, I feel like it could still be perfect for a wedding day. Of course, you could easily make this candy buffet setup in the colors of your choice by choosing candy in your chosen color scheme.
I love the contrast of the stark white background mixed with the bold candy colors. It just feels so modern and playful! In my other posts in this series, you'll see how to make the Printable Favor Tags for the Candy Tube Wedding Favors as well as Printable Candy Buffet Sticker Labels to decorate your jars. I used the most darling Candy Favor Tubes to create this project and I couldn't be more thrilled with how they turned out! Plus, I'll be showing you how to create these White Chocolate Sprinkle-Covered Oreos for an added treat to include on your table. There's seriously nothing more delicious than a Chocolate Covered Oreo, and I love that the colored sprinkles add to the Rainbow Theme! Not only do they look adorable on the table, they are also super simple to make, so you don't have to be a master baker or chocolatier to make a delicious and darling dessert.
This entire arrangement cost under $200 to do, so it's really budget-friendly. Candy Buffets add a fun visual focal point to a party or wedding as well as serve as a party favor -- so I love that it pulls double duty! Be sure to check out the other posts in this series to see how I pulled it all together!
To create the table arrangement, I took the plastic candy cylinders and filled them with gumballs. I chose the medium sized cylinder for the table, and for a smart little trick, I used the smaller cylinders from the set on the inside of the medium cylinder face down. Then I poured my gumballs into the medium cylinder, around the small cylinder. This allowed my jars to look more full, and since no one would take more than a few gumballs of each color anyway, this helped save on the amount of candy needed to "fill" the jars!
Next, I used Balloon Weights and taped the lollipops to them to prop them up for an added dose of height and detail for the table. Then I placed my Rainbow Candy Sticks inside the White Pails for an easy grab-and-go treat. I placed my Rainbow Candy filled Wedding Favor Tubes around the table, top standing up, and some lying down flat. I finished off the table by placing my Rainbow Sprinkle Covered Oreos on two White Platters and setting them at the front of the table. The final result is so colorful and fun!
