Halloween Dive or Dare Party Game Table

Halloween Dive or Dare Party Game Table

For me, Halloween is one of the best times of the year! One of my favorite things to do is host a Halloween party with lots of fun games, activities and sweet treats. This Dive or Dare Halloween Party Game Table is just spooky enough for little kids without being too scary. You can add this Dive or Dare Halloween party game table to pretty much any Halloween party so that guests have a fun activity to do that keeps them busy. It's simple to set up and adds a spooky wow-factor to your party space.

For this fun game your guests will have a choice to either DIVE their hand into a cauldron or they can DARE to eat creepy things. Just don't tell guests that we found candy that's only disguised as creepy things to eat.

Set The Scene

Start by hanging creepy cloth on a wall above a table. Next, trim the hanging string from several hanging bats and secure them to the wall with tape. Be sure to use a strong enough tape that won't damage your walls like this Mavalus Tape.

Step Right Up And Meet The Pumpkin Skeleton!

Our Dive or Dare Halloween Party Game has to have a spooky host, right? Prop up a Life Size Posable Skeleton against the middle of the wall and place the table snuggly against it to keep it upright. Feel free to leave the skeleton as is or add a fun Rotting Pumpkin Head on top!

Place a DIY Dive or Dare Party Game Sign in front of the skeleton so your guests know that creepy fun is about to begin! You can make this sign easily with the step-by-step tutorial HERE.

Now it's time to set up the game. How's how it's played. Set up four glitzy cauldrons across the front of the table and fill them with water pearls. You will need to soak the red water pearls in cold water a few hours before your party so they fully expand, then drain the excess water out. TIP: Don't fill the cauldrons to the top with the beads as they may fall out when your guests reach their hands inside.

Next, add different creepy items that match the game signs into each of the four cauldrons and submerge them so they are fully covered.

Place these DIY printable DIVE game sign sticks down into each cauldron so that your guests know what they are diving their hands inside to find. Next, place the items your guests will DARE to eat into containers like witch fingers, gummy snakes, bug juice or eyeball gum balls. Download the free printable tent signs then place them next to each item that guests will have to eat.

Your guests will have so much fun reaching their hands inside the cauldrons filled with wet and squishy water pearls that feel like squishy brains, EWWW, or choosing to take the dare and eat creepy things like snakes and eyeballs!

Cauldron #3 - DIVE For Spiders

Place several plastic spiders and a few larger ones down inside the cauldron. The legs of the spiders are prickly and sure to cause a reaction from the kids when they reach down inside to grab a few.

Cauldron #4 - DIVE For Squishy Eyeballs

This one is by far the grossest in my opinion. These eyeball toys are squishy, sticky and slimy just like a real eyeball.

OR DARE To Eat An Eyeball!

If your guests don't have the guts to dive for an eyeball, they can dare to eat an eyeball instead. These bloodshot eyeball gumballs look gross but taste great!
