Date Night Jar Station For A Wedding

Date Night Jar Station For A Wedding

Every married couple should get into the habit of going on dates! Sometimes once we get married, the date nights get few and far between. Maybe it’s because of a lack of ideas, or we are busy and tired… either way, we need to keep that romance alive! Create this fun date night jar station at your wedding, and you’ll be taking tons of great date night ideas home with you. You can set up your date night jar station by the guest book, the presents, cake table, or place smaller sizes of them on each seating table during the reception. I used craft sticks, but you could also use stationary.

Date Night Jar Idea for a wedding with free printable sign

A date night jar station creates a fun, interactive experience between you and your wedding guests. As newlyweds, you will be able to try out the suggested date night ideas and then share your experiences with the friends and family who provided the ideas! Just think how happy they will be when they hear that you tried out their date idea! You can even post about the date on social media and tag the person who suggested it. What a great way to create and share memories during the first year of your marriage. Date Night Jar Station For a Wedding

To set up your date night jar station, you will need two mason jars. Fill one jar with the blank sticks and leave the other jar empty. As guests write their date night ideas down, they will place them in the empty jar. Set out Sharpies for your guest to write the date night ideas down with.

My Date Night Sign instructs your guest what they need to do at the station. Click the "download template" button under the materials list to access the free printable sign. Print the sign and then put it in a frame.

I set up my station on top of a whiskey barrel at the front of the wedding aisle. Arrange the sign, mason jars, craft sticks, and sharpies at your station with the framed sign. Of course, a bouquet of fresh flowers make your station really pop! http://www.orientaltrading.com/sharpie-metallic-fine-point-permanent-markers-a2-73_97.fltrFor more rustic inspired DIY wedding ideas, head to my post on How to Create an Affordable Rustic Barn Wedding.
