Fear Ye, Fear Ye
Creeping Beauty’s Haunted Castle is covered in ancient webs and disintegrating draperies. To create the effect, creepy cloth is draped over a wood paper-covered piece of art. A gruesome greeting is made from a free printable and added to a gold glitter frame. Embellishments like gold coins and sparkling rings are added with hot glue to conceal the inner perimeter of the frame. It’s a fear striking hint of what’s to come beyond the threatening castle gates. Get the free printable signs and posters here.
A Revolting Royal Reception Greets You
Cross the mysterious moat and enter through the drawbridge to a royal cocktail reception sparkling with the castle’s finest stemware, nestled among piles of gold, coins and treasure. Spooky and scary surprises hide in every dark corner of this haunted castle scene!
The revolting royal princess has tasked her skeleton crew with creating a decadent Creeping Beauty’s Haunted Cocktail Reception for the bards and banshees of the land. Navy blue table runners are hung throughout the design. These are layered with gold sequined runners, more creepy cloth and then, silvery eucalyptus vines are woven in. The unique mix of haunted castle Halloween decor is all draped and gathered on a simple backdrop stand using zip ties. A plain grey sheet was also used to create the largest section; tear off all the edges for a shredded look.
Creepy concoctions are served from dusk til dawn at Sinderella’s Tavern. Please note their policy of consuming, (and communicating with), spirits responsibly. Get the free printable menu and drink labels here.
A Treacherous Tavern of Medieval Libations
White rectangular trays with gold trim are the perfect size for serving up drinks to the lords and ladies of the land. They’re laden with gold wine glasses. The sparkling vessels are filled with a Prosecco Limoncello cocktail called “True Love’s Hiss”.
A cobra skeleton keeps watch over the deadly display, guarding a blue crystal egg. Gold striped straws are decorated with a purple Hershey’s kiss to resemble the castle flags. These are placed into the tasty Halloween drinks and decorated with a rhinestone ring for true royal splendor.
Sinister Sips and Ghoulish Garnishes
Dragon’s Breath is a honey mead cider made with hard apple or pear cider and honey, served up in proper monarchal fashion, in gold bejeweled goblets. Heart picks are a special touch from the preposterous princess herself. Each is adorned with a gooey marshmallow eyeball, boasting a gooey tangy fruit center. These are hand decorated with red edible food paint and eyeball sprinkles.
Scary spiders are applied to pink swirl pops for a fun stir stick or snack. Skulls, crystals, gold beads, coins, and a small dragon skeleton are added to the display to create a luxurious, layered look with plenty of treats amid terrifying touches.
A Treasure Trove of Creepy Concoctions
Wood look paper is overlaid on a white candy cart to create a rustic look. A sinister snake slithers up one post of the cart over a golden urn filled with pink ribbon wands.
The cart is draped in silvery serpentines of eucalyptus vines, blush rose vine, and black creepy cloth. A tattered castle flag is fashioned from a pink aisle runner, cut into shreds with a pair of scissors. The same tattered pink fabric is also found on the table at Creeping Beauty’s Castle Party.
Navy blue table runners are gathered and draped across the cart, and a tiered flower tray holds martini glasses filled with a Creepy Castletini cocktail, made from “pulverized fairy liqueur”, (actually Drillaud Violet Liqueur and club soda, mixed with some purpley-blue luster dust).
The creative Halloween cocktail is garnished with “castle gold” Rolo candies on a pick, and a black gumball “cannonball”.
A heap of gold wrapped chocolate and caramel Rolo candies are also stacked atop the floral tiered tray to resemble a decadent pile of gold.
The lower portion of the Halloween drink display is covered with pink acrylic ice, bugs, spiders, gold coins and rhinestone rings. The treasure catches glints of light and looks very realistic! Black personalized beverage napkins with gold foil pumpkins bear the message, “Welcome to Creeping Beauty’s Castle”. Halloween napkins with a spiderweb design are also offered.
What a beastly bar arrangement! It’s fearsomely fun, and quite otherworldly, wouldn’t you agree? Have your royal guests howling at the moon over your Halloween hosting skills with this medieval Halloween themed Creeping Beauty’s Castle Cocktail Reception.
Tale as Old As Time, Probably Much Older
Then, be our guest, if you dare, in the royal dining room. Seated at the head of a treasure-laden table is the princess herself, Creeping Beauty.
Gleaming golden locks and a glittering gold crown are all that’s left of the horrifying highness, escaped from the family crypt. Beauty is made with a full sized poseable skeleton, aged with paint effects. Her silken dress is made from a gathered table runner, overlaid with a length of creepy cloth. To top off her “killer style”, a blonde wig and flexible gold glitter crown are added. Beauty’s pet dragon, also a skeleton as misfortune would have it, sits on her shoulder, observing the fearsome festivities.
Creeping Beauty’s Haunted Shield hangs overhead, providing a chilling focal point over the terrifying table.

All That Glitters Isn’t Gold
Strewn down the center of the entire long table, treasure is piled high and glitters with sparkle and movement. That’s not just any movement; the terrifying tablescape is teeming with life, squirming with spiders, snakes, rats and more. Create a treasure trove on your table by using gold bead necklaces, gold coins, rhinestone rings and a few sparkly or old metal items from thrift stores of your own collections. Scatter in candies like purple Hershey’s kisses and gold wrapped Rolos. Toss in some realistic bugs, snakes, rats, and spiders for an especially creepy touch.
A hungry rat skeleton stands guard over some of the castle gold. Looks like this little fella has gone quite a while without a meal!
A Fearsome Feast Awaits
Ghoulish guests are in for tricks and treats galore as they take their seats at place settings curated by the bone chilling princess, herself. Each guest enjoys a bejeweled goblet of the castle’s finest moat water to start the festivities.
Skull plates bear a striking resemblance to the royal princess. These are set atop royal blue metallic rimmed plates and set with a bundle of ornate vintage flatware tied with sheer ribbon.
Personalized black beverage napkins with gold foil pumpkin design are customized with the phrase, “Welcome to Creeping Beauty’s Castle”. (Of course, these can be modified to accommodate any message!)
Each phantasmic place setting is also bestowed with a ghastly little takeaway Skull Scepter favor. These were created so easily, it was scary. Simply poke a hole into the base of a small skull and press it onto the top of a light pink ribbon wand for instant screams.
Royals From All The Land Are Dying To See You
How’s a Halloween hostess with the mostest to have a haunt without all her favorite glaring ghouls and their eerie escorts? Creeping Beauty was sure to invite all her friends, and the gruesome gang is here to howl at the moon and party til the cryptkeeper sings.
First to arrive are the Ladies in Waiting, Forever. This sickly trio of triplets have an alarming, skin crawling condition, but seem in good spirits. The set of scary royals was created by adding creepy bugs, rats and moss to a set of Creepy Doll Yard Stakes. Gold paper crowns were trimmed to fit and adhered with hot glue. Their eyes light up by adding three AA batteries to the pack. It’s an especially eerie effect to see their eyes lit from within. Perhaps creepier, is when the light is turned off. Any way you slice it, this threatening group of Ladies in Waiting are sure to inspire a nightmare or two.
Also in attendance for the sinister soiree are Banshee and her bone chilling, beastly boyfriend.
It’s a girl meets beast tale as old as time. Our Banshee is created by adding costume elements like a Belle dress, brown wig and crown to a poseable skeleton. A cockroach is added to embellish the look, and voila! Our babe from beyond the grave is ready for her date.
And what a date he is! Snarling menacingly over the royal festivities, it seems our beast boy doesn’t know he shouldn’t smile with his mouth full. A rodent skeleton dangles from his curved fang. Perhaps no one is brave enough to tell him his manners are lacking.
The bony, beastly character is created using a full sized poseable Werewolf Skeleton. This ferocious canine features a scary looking wolfen styled jaw and fangs, and curved, clawed hands and feet. Carrying the color and theme, a navy blue table runner and creepy cloth are draped across his torso in a prince-like draping style.
Be Our Guest, in Eternal Slumber
Bearing a sense of foreboding, a haunted hutch is filled with castle signs and medieval treasures. One reads, “Nightmares Come True”, and bears the image of “Prince Harming”. “Lurk, Laugh, Loathe” is another sign that imparts a homey feel to the chilly castle. These signs and several others are part of a free printable set to go along with this unique Halloween party theme.
