Craft rolls are a fun, easy and inexpensive way to create some amazing projects. From mermaids to rockets, you and your kids will have a blast creating these craft roll masterpieces. Check out all of the fabulous ideas below and get those creative juices flowing!

Create a magical little village by cutting craft rolls into various heights and covering them with strips of brightly colored paper from the neon paper pack.

Trace the roof template found in our free printable pack onto full color spectrum paper pack sheets, cut out and place on top of the rolls using glue dots or hot glue if you're helping the kids. Create pretend windows and doors by attaching colorful patterned wood buttons to the rolls. For a little extra fun, cut out the rainbow pennant banners from the neon paper pack and attach to the rooftops using glue dots. Kids will have a blast creating their own little world for all their favorite tiny toys.

If your little ones are learning about ocean creatures in school or if they just want to make a fun craft for Shark Week, these fierce sharks definitely fit the bill!

Cover a craft roll with light blue and dark blue paper. Using the free printable template, trace the tail and fin and cut out. Cut out tiny triangles using white paper and attach to the inside of the roll using glue dots. Attach a pair of googly eyes to the sides of the shark and draw gills using a black sharpie. Attach the fins and tail to the body of the shark using glue dots.

For a truly magical craft, create these darling iridescent unicorns! Simply cover a craft roll with iridescent paper and attach strips of an iridescent tassel to the inside of the roll with glue dots for the mane and tail. Cut two triangles out of pink or blue paper and attach to the inside of the roll using glue dots. Adhere a triangle from the glitter foam geometric self adhesive pack and place inside the roll to act as the unicorn's horn. Draw the eyelashes using a black sharpie and adhere a pair of self-adhesive rhinestones in place for the cheeks.

3-2-1 liftoff! Kids will love creating and launching these rocket ships into outer space! Cover the craft roll with white and black cardstock and decorate with foam star glitter shapes. Cut out a 2" radius circle from a sheet of cardstock and wrap it around to make a cone. Glue the cone to the top of the rocket using glue. Next, cut out two triangles from the sheet cardstock and attach them to the rocket using glue. Tuck in a few strips of yellow streamers to the bottom of the rocket and adhere using glue.

Using the butterfly wing template, trace and cut out the wings onto colorful scrapbook paper and decorate using an array of glitter flower shapes. Attach the wings to the craft roll using hot glue.

Cut strips of pink, blue,yellow and light green streamers and attach them to the inside of the roll using hot glue. Curl chenille stems into butterfly antennae and glue them into the inside of the bottom of the roll. Punch holes into the sides of the roll and thread baker's twine through the holes to hang your creation.
