Thanksgiving is the holiday that always brings out the warm and fuzzy feels. I just love when family and friends are gathered round, scrumptious aromas float out of the kitchen, and a crackling fire gives off a golden glow. It's all so cozy and wonderful! Why not add to the ambiance by carrying the coziness over into your table decor? This Thanksgiving gathering combines warm copper tones with rich navy accents to help you create a beautiful holiday scene that will definitely have your guests giving thanks!
The Thanksgiving Dinner Table:
To create this gorgeous Thanksgiving dinner table, we began by covering our dining table with a Pacon® Fadeless® Weathered Wood Paper Roll. It gave our table a rustic, farmhouse look all while protecting it at the same time. The paper is such good quality and looks exactly like real wood that everyone thought we got a new dining table!
The focal point of this table was the stunning centerpiece. We started by centering copper lanterns in the middle of the table then surrounded them with various natural elements. Fresh greenery, figs, cranberries, pears, mini pumpkins, and mini pinecones all worked together to create a beautiful display. You can totally mix and match your favorite fresh elements to create a look that is custom fit to your taste. Play around with what's in season in your neck of the woods and have fun with it!
The place settings were comprised of Sweet Fall Dinner Plates, Sweet Fall Beverage Napkins, Navy Blue Beverage Napkins, Rose Gold Cutlery, and Moscow Mule Metal Cups that sat atop these free printable beverage coasters.
To add a personalized touch to the table, we created these adorable Copper Accented Thanksgiving Favors and used them as place cards at each setting. We tucked nut mix inside each ceramic pumpkin trinket box, but mints or small candies would work too! Get the easy DIY for the favors here.
The Dessert Table:
With a dessert display this pretty, it was hard not to eat dessert first! I mean, just look at that sweet stuff!
Fresh pumpkin pie, a decadent drip cake, cream cheese brownies, and copper-dusted truffles were all on the menu, and looked amazing trimmed out with natural elements. Don't miss the super easy how-to for the copper-dusted truffles here!
A mix of wood and copper serving pieces like this wood pattern cake stand and other items that I had in my collection helped give the table visual interest by adding height and dimension.
A quick dose of copper spray paint transformed old candlesticks from the thrift store into perfectly matching decorative pieces, and gave these Gold Geometric Spheres just the right finish to match our theme.
Tucking fall elements like leaves and fall blooms & berries into the geometric spheres helped tie everything together and looked absolutely stunning!
Thanksgiving Leftovers:
One of the best things about Thanksgiving is the leftovers, right? These Kraft Paper Pie Slice Boxes are so perfect for sending a slice of deliciousness home with your guests, and they look soooo good topped with these free pie box printable labels! You'll definitely be deemed host or hostess of the year when you send your peeps home with a slice of delish to eat when they wish. ;)
The Decor:
The dining table and dessert table were so impressive together that only a few finishing touches were needed to make the space look complete.
A simply stated yet beautiful free printable "Gather" banner, fresh pumpkins, fall leaves, birch pillars, and some copper mercury votives above the fire finished the space off elegantly. Download the free banner here.
I hope these ideas have inspired you to create your own cozy Thanksgiving gathering and let you make some wonderful memories with the ones you love most. Happy Thanksgiving!
