Cozy Christmas Dinner Party

We designed our tablescape around the idea of classic Christmas paired with chic mixed metals and modern details. We achieved this look by layering a crisp white linen with rustic wood and plaid runners. We loved incorporating classic holiday decor into our runner by pulling in a traditional Christmas garland full of pine cones, greenery and sugared cranberries. We then added modern pine cones in metallic silver with snow details, Mercury Glass Votive Holders topped with classically trimmed candles, and rustic White Metal Lanterns with Tree Cutouts with Pine Cone Votive Holders placed inside. A modern silver reindeer added a chic look to the center of the table. Each place setting consisted of a Silver Charger layered with a White Ribbed Dinner Plate, and a Winter Lodge Dinner Plate topped with a dessert size dinner plate. Silver utensils rested upon coordinating Winter Lodge Luncheon Napkins. We made simple place cards using white card stock, metallic ink and fresh pine greens, and then rested them in Faux Birch Branch Card Holders. Mini antlers added a chic and rustic look to the Clear Patterned Wine Glasses. Nothing makes you feel warm and cozy like a big mug of hot cocoa! We loved setting up this yummy DIY Hot Cocoa Bar, which was a delicious and festive way for guests to enjoy a warm drink with dessert! Our amazingly talented friend, Lauren of Ten23 Designs, made this stunning typographic sign for the backdrop of our bar. Freshly made cocoa was served up in a tartan plaid carafe for guests to pour into Merry & Bright Christmas Mugs. We couldn't resist displaying the carafe on this gorgeous reindeer cake plate! These Merry & Bright Christmas Mugs are perfectly oversized, so they held plenty of hot cocoa and added a colorful detail to the bar! We offered up plenty of toppings including whipped cream, chocolate chips and peppermint sugar so guests could create a custom cup of cocoa. Mini Mason Jar Favors were displayed on petite sleds and were an easy way for guests to add their favorite toppings to our yummy Irish cocoa. Our Irish Peppermint Hot Cocoa Recipe was a perfect after-dinner dessert drink and was so simple and delicious! We added a silver striped paper straw and a stag stir stick to each cup for guests to use and enjoy. Always be sure to send guests home with a fun favor!
