THE FAIR GROUND DINING HALL

There is no place that compares to a fair for sampling nostalgic, fun and creative food options. Get just as creative with your both your menu and party tables.

Inspired by traditional fair ground elements this table has a softer, whimsical color palette of blue, mint, pink and yellow while retaining a bright and fun vibe. Start with Blush Draping Fabric Roll to soften the white tabletop.

NOSTALGIC PLACE SETTINGS

Carousel Baby Shower Paper Cups capture the color palette I used for this whimsical fair inspired table perfectly. Pair with a Clear Premium Plastic Wine Glass.

Layer the place setting starting with a Light Blue Square Paper Dinner Plates followed by a Fresh Mint Green Square Paper Dessert Plate, a Fresh Mint Dinner Napkin and silver hammered cutlery.

On top of the setting add a Pink Popcorn Box with a Kathy Kaye Sweet & Salty Popcorn Ball inside it, this doubles as a favor that can be taken home.

Create a unique place card by adding guests names to a cotton candy paper cone. I used cotton candy vinyl to cut names in a carnival themed font.

Add a last touch of fun by completing the setting with a couple of tickets from a Drink Ticket Roll. There are plenty more tickets within the centerpiece if guests need them or use them purely for decorative purposes.

Consider serving up mini versions of fair ground favorites, mini corn dogs, hot dogs, sliders and more...who doesn't love eating mini food, you can try so much more!

"BEST OF" DESSERTS

It wouldn't be the fair without competitions to choose the best pies, breads, cakes, preserved foods and more. Set up the dessert table to reflect this favorite pastime.

Serve up mini versions of competition favorites for desserts. Mini pies and cobblers are a personal favorite, so can highly recommend this option! Tie a spoon to each individual pie to capture that quaint fair feeling.

Then add a selection of preserves in Snap Lid Bottle Favor Jars with Yellow Star Single Roll Tickets tied on using Baker's Twine. These make thoughtful & tasty take home favors for older guests.

COTTON CANDY...SO DELICIOUS

It wouldn't be the fair without cotton candy. Have an attendant or let guests make their own using their paper cone place cards. Place extra paper cones in a cylinder vase lined with carnival tickets. Decorate your cotton candy station with fabulous retro Concession Signs, a Vintage Collection Pennant Banner and rolls of tickets.
