Conversation Tree Centerpiece

Conversation Tree Centerpiece

I had the best time creating a Halloween Night Family Dinner Party. We always have a yummy dinner on Halloween night and I enjoy coming up with new decor and ideas for our spooky feast! This year is all about gold, black and white. We made Fang Place Cards, a delicious Brownie Parfait, and our Spooky Tree Conversation Centerpiece - my favorite project of all. I love how each mini cauldron contains a fun Halloween-themed conversation starter question.

Start making your own centerpiece by brainstorming a list of questions to go on the tree. We find that around 12 is a good number of questions/thought starters to have at your family dinner. Here are a few ideas from our list.

1. What is your favorite Halloween candy?

2. Do you like to carve your pumpkin scary, cute or funny?

3. What was your favorite Halloween costume?

4. What is your favorite thing about Halloween?

5. What is your favorite fall activity?

6. What kind of magic potion would you like and why?

7. Would you rather be something funny or scary for Halloween?

8. If you had a flying broom, where would you fly to?

9. Tell about a time when you have been scared?

10. If someone chooses "trick" instead of "treat," what trick would you play?

11. What is your favorite pumpkin dessert to eat?

12. What is your favorite Halloween tradition?

13. If you could "trick or treat" anywhere in the world, where would you go?

14. What Halloween creature/character do you like best?

Print out your questions on card stock or hand write them out. Cut out each card, leaving space on one side to fold over. Fold the cards over onto the Halloween cupcake picks then add tape to the back so they look like little flags. spooky tree

Add some black and white ribbon to the mini cauldron handles. Next, put a led tea light into each cauldron. They look so cool lit up at night. spooky tree

Hang each cauldron onto your spooky tree. Guests can take turns picking a Halloween question from the tree. spooky tree I think the questions are so fun for a Halloween Dinner and I can't wait for our Halloween Night Dinner Party this year. This Spooky Tree Conversation Centerpiece is going to be a hit! spooky tree spooky tree spooky tree spooky tree   Check out the rest of my Halloween Family Dinner PartyDIY Fang Place Cards, and Chocolate Brownie Parfait for more spooky Halloween fun!
