Build a love of reading with this fun confetti themed reading nook! A classroom library is always one of my favorite areas in any classroom. That's why I try to make it a warm, inviting, and cozy area for students to dig into a good book. After all, a classroom library tells students that you value and encourage independent reading. This confetti-themed library nook is sure to get your students excited about reading!
Transform your library into something spectacular with products from the Classroom Confetti decor line! My inspiration for this classroom library came from these Neon Picture Book Library Storage Organizers. I wanted to create a library nook that was bright and fun, but I knew that organization would be the most important thing to consider. Whether you plan to organize by theme or not, these sturdy book bins are the perfect solution for keeping your classroom library in tip top shape. I added black striped Hanging Paper Lanterns from the ceiling, and I hot glued a Schoolgirl Style Simply Stylish Tassel Bulletin Board Cutout to the bottom of each paper lantern.
Create this fairytale-themed bulletin board for your classroom library! I covered the back of my bulletin board with Fadeless® Chalkboard Bulletin Board Paper. Outline your bulletin board with a Double-Sided Solid & Polka Dot Bulletin Board Border and add a variety of paper fans to make your bulletin board stand out! Add the phrase, "Once upon a time..." using Chalkboard Bulletin Board Letters. I decorated the top of my bookshelves with a Marquee Light-Up Kit and spelled out the word "READ".
I added a canopy tent to give the classroom library a cozy feel. Incorporate some Fiesta Tissue Paper Hanging Tassels into the canopy to give your classroom library some flair!
Add a variety of large and medium-sized pillows in purple, green, yellow, and blue so students can easily curl up with their favorite books.
If you don't like how the back of a bookcase looks, simply cover it with Fadeless® Chalkboard Bulletin Board Paper and outline it with Double-Sided Solid & Polka Dot Bulletin Board Borders in white. Lastly, add a fun poster or phrase to the back of your bookcase to tie it in with the rest of your classroom decor. I used a poster from the Confetti Glitter Classroom Posters. Your students will love reading in this confetti-themed library nook! It's amazing how much difference adding a few decor items to your classroom can make to get your students eager and excited to learn!
