We are always looking for inspiration all around us for events, and we knew we wanted to bring in bright and colorful floral inspiration along with modern tones and details for our contemporary colorful wedding! With a mix of gold metals, bold whites and trendy chic colors, this wedding would be gorgeous year round. You can recreate this whimsical and modern theme with our DIY tips, delicious drink recipe and some gorgeous table decor!

The Table:
We started by layering our table in a bright white linen to really highlight the array of vivid colors and metallic tones of the details of or wedding tablescape.
The Place Settings:

Our place settings were clad in bright colors, contemporary color blocking and gold elements that really popped against the bright white table linen.

A white dinner plate was layered with a fuchsia linen napkin and was then topped with a dessert plate and boldly colored menu that matched our table decor.

We really wanted to make a statement with our drinkware so we added an array of chic and trendy colors to the bases of both our patterned wine glasses and our clear patterned champagne glasses. We love the color and modern flare this brought to the table.

The metallic gold cutlery coordinated perfectly with the patterned drinkware and was dipped in a variety of paint colors to create a bold look with a simple DIY.
Personalized DIY Touches:

We wanted the seating for our bride and groom to stand out in a colorful and chic way. We created these beautiful and contemporary Mr and Mrs Chair Backers with some fun DIY supplies, washi tape, lace, bold paint colors and a hint of fresh flowers. You can get our full DIY step by step tutorial to create these chair backers for your next event here!
The Centerpiece:

We wanted to continue the color theme throughout the centerpiece to compliment our place settings.

Simple bud vases were painted in various colors and had added gold washi tape stripes.

Additional gold based bud vases were filled with a mix of colorful flowers as well.

To bring in more gold elements, candle holders were painted in a metallic gold and displayed tall white tapered candles.

The Backdrop:

Our table was brimming with bold pops of color and we wanted our backdrop to tie into that theme. We created a simple geometric backdrop using colored paper and simply created a colorful pattern that would compliment our color scheme on the table itself.
The Mojito Bar:

Every wedding should have a custom drink and we took that idea to the next level by creating a custom DIY Mojito Bar! Clad with 3 varieties of mojitos and fruit mixers, this drink bar is such to be a huge success at any event!

Hexagonal wooden signs were color blocked to coordinated with our color palette and were displayed under jade colored cake plates. Each cake plate displayed a beverage dispenser with a different Mojito option.

Small square glass vases were painted gold and displayed a mix of fun and flavorful fruit to add to your custom Mojito. More dip dyed metallic gold cutlery was placed in each fruit bowl for guests to serve themselves.

We created custom signage using DIY weathered wood slats which we painted white and added some cricut lettering to. Each beverage dispenser had its own sign so guests knew what options they had to choose from. The DIY signage rested on colorfully painted Mini Wooden Easel Place Card Holders.

More bud vases were painted bold colors and displayed additional fresh flowers while additional flowers and faux eucalyptus greenery were displayed in front the bar table itself for more pops of color.

Gold rimmed tumbler glasses held gold foil striped paper straws and were set out on a painted scalloped tray on a bright pink tufted stool.
