The Table:

Start with whimsy! I hung the Boho Pom-Pom Chandelier over the table using a small removable hook. Your bride is bound to love this as home decor after the shower!

I used a plain white tabletop so as not to distract from the lush colors of the flowers and tableware. If you don't have a white tabletop a simple white tablecloth will work. In the middle of table I placed a Boho Wishing Tree Centerpiece, you can find out how to make your own here.

The tree holds charms and wishing tags for guests to write their wishes, hopes and dreams for the bride-to-be. I then cut the heads of pink, orange and yellow flowers from their stems and placed these around the bottom of the tree and down the center of the table. Flower Mandalas are symbolic in Tibet and this simple design doubles as a beautifully fragrant "runner" down the table.

At each end of the table's flower mandela I placed a bell. Bells are a symbol of wisdom in Tibet. I used a Bell Costume Prop to create these colorful symbols. Spray painting the bell gold, the handle pink and wrapping it with pink, blue and yellow yarn. Next to the bell I placed a White Cut-Out Dots Candle Holder spray-painted a matching pink.

The Place Settings:

At each place setting, I used a Tibetan prayer flag on each chair back. Each color symbolizes an element - for example blue symbolizes the sky, white is air, red is fire, green is water, and yellow is earth.

I then used a Hot Pink Luncheon Napkin at each setting with a set of chopsticks. I wrapped the ends of the chopsticks with yarn. I then used a Mimosa Yellow Round Paper Dinner Plate with a lotus mandela plate on top. I then placed a Light Blue Snack Cup on top. It is the perfect size for a yummy fruit salad. I topped off the fruit with a fun Boho Pom-Pom Food Pick.

I served a delicious Himalayan Goji Berry Smoothie to start the bridal shower. You can find out how to make your own here - you'll love the delicious Himalayan berry. I served this in a Premium Gold-Trim Plastic Tumbler and added the cutest Boho Llama Paper Cups.

At each place setting I had a miniature "Tree of Life" place card for each guest - a key chain on the tree doubles as a favor. The Leather Jewelry Tag on each chain has the guests name stamped into it. Find out how to make these Simple Boho Place Card Favors here.

The Dessert Table:

I had a lot of fun creating the boho vibe of this dessert table, mixing elements of vintage tradition with new bold party trends and vibrant colors. The cake is decorated with a Boho Pom-Pom Garland. This is such a versatile piece of decor. Hang it or use it like I did. I cut the longer tassel and used it as a topper (TIP: lay a piece of cling film underneath to keep this food safe) and then used a portion of the garland around the bottom of the cake.

The cake was then placed on a bright orange cake stand and a vintage crate with writing on it that looks like it has come straight from Everest Base Camp! Create this look yourself by painting a DIY Unfinished Wood Slate Crate and adding the tent name of your choice. I then used the other half of the Boho Pom-Pom Garland at the bottom of the cake stand with more bright colored flower heads.

Earlier, as guests arrived, I was also able to flip this crate over and use it to serve drinks. Use small wood dividers in your crate to do the same.

To the right of the cake, a Small Boho Llama Pinata. No Dalai Lama, but a "Llama" guide for this Tibetan inspired bridal shower adventure nonetheless! This sweet llama carries the flowers for the bride-to be and is perched on a small blue stool for a little height.

The remaining tassel from the garland is placed on the table, along with a sprinkling of coins and charms.

On the other side of the cake I stacked 2 balls. The balls are made with twists of brightly colored fabric scrap, like the fabric used around trees in Tibet.

Inside the top of the balls 2 of the Llama picks in the Boho Pom-Pom Food Pick set.

The backdrop, is my favorite piece of this bridal shower. It is a modern interpretation of the streamers and flags of Tibet. I love the layering and depth you can get from something as simple as a crepe paper party streamer!

I created 25 columns of streamers. Each one is a different color (green, blue, orange, pink and yellow - in no particular order) to create the column. I used 12 strips of each color, back to front to create the depth.

Across the front of the hanging paper strips I strung up individual bells on Buddhist string. Alternatively use bakers twine. At each end of the bells I added a Boho Pom-Pom Tassel Decoration.

This simple and cost effective backdrop is an eye-catching way to set the scene for this unique Colorful Boho Tibetan Inspired Bridal Shower.
