Are you loving the Cactus and Succulent trend hitting the party and home decor scene lately? I sure am! When I saw this new line of Cactus Party Decor, I couldn’t wait to create a fun party to share. I love how versatile this theme is. It’s perfect for any age birthday, fiesta, bridal shower or even a day with the girlfriends!
The Party Decorations Who would have thought cacti could be so stinking cute and popular? I'm just loving the bright colors and watercolor style of these products. Inspired by the Wild and Free Cactus Sign, I wanted the party to be light and airy. So, I started with a white palette with a splash of pink to bring out the blooming cactus flowers. I started the set up with a dessert table. I wanted to keep the party simple so for the backdrop I hung up a roll of white tulle and the Cactus Garland. Next, I set out my white table and added the Cactus Party Centerpieces along with my white serveware for the desserts and drinks.
To add more interest, I set out two white crates and decorated them with another cactus centerpiece, a few Cactus Balloons and Faux Succulent Picks.
I also set out the Cactus String Art that I created for the party This project was super easy and fun to make, you can see how I made it HERE. I love how it turned out! Wouldn't it look great in a craft room or on a fireplace mantle?
I whipped up a batch of Cucumber Lime and Mint Agua Fresca and served it in a beverage dispenser. Get my easy recipe HERE. I set out the Cactus Tumblers on top of Cactus Party Beverage Napkins. To make the cactus tumblers bloom, I added the pink tissue flowers from the White Favor Boxes onto Lime Green Striped Paper Straws. Don't they look festive?
One of my favorite details from this party is the simply decorated naked cake. It was the perfect detail for the party and is something anyone can do to dress up a plain cake. For the topper, I topped the cake with several Faux Succulent Picks.
I wanted to add a little more green to the table, so I filled several mini glass goblets with green jello and topped them with Cactus Party Food Picks. I love how the sticks on the picks are clear, which makes them perfect for jello or jello shots!
The Party Guest Table For the party guest table centerpiece, I painted a terrarium in an ombre style. You can see my tutorial HERE. To give it height, I set my terrarium on a white cake stand. This simple DIY project also makes for a great party favor!
To add a little bit of shimmer, I added a Rose Gold Sequin Table Runner to the table along with a set of two ceramic cacti. For the table setting, I spray painted Silvertone Scalloped Square Chargers with white flat paint for under the Cactus Party Dinner Plates. Since you can't have a great party without a few party favors, I added a paper succulent on top of the White Favor Boxes and filled them with candy for each guest.
Doesn't the party look inviting and fun? The colors and simplicity make this theme perfect for any occasion!
