Hippity Hoppity, Easter is on its way and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate! Easter is one of my personal favorite holidays, if not my favorite. Not only is the true meaning of the holiday special to me and my family, but we also love to celebrate with a family brunch, an egg hunt and a little party for the kids!
Beautiful weather, spring flowers, pastel colors and festive decor all make it so much fun to celebrate Easter. Every year I set up a small party for my kids to enjoy after brunch and before our annual egg hunt. This year I decided a simple Some Bunny Loves You themed party would be perfect for our upcoming celebration.
I wanted to decorate with traditional Easter pastels so I chose pink, yellow, green and white as my main colors. I started the party decorating with a Bunny Backdrop. You can see how I put it together HERE. Next, I set out a few Bunny party favor boxes filled with candy. My boys love gummy candy so I chose Easter Carrots Gummy Candy and White Teddy Bears Gummy Candy for their boxes.
Aren't these BunnyFavor Boxes the cutest? When I saw these, I knew they'd be perfect for our party. Not only are they adorable, they are just the right size for candies and toys. I also have a few extra that I will be giving out to my son's 1st grade class during their Easter celebration. They are the perfect little Easter box for crayons and goodies.
I also set out a few Pint Ball Mason Jars for our lemonade and limeade.
For dessert, I whipped up a batch of fun Bunny Face Cupcakes and placed them on my pink cake stand. You can see how to make these HERE. Those goofy teeth crack me up and were a big hit with my boys.
I filled a Handblown Glass Apothecary Jar with Easter Gumballs and placed it on a white cake stand for height. Individually wrapped candies are perfect for parties!
You can't have a Bunny themed party without a few carrots! The boys and I made these cute Carrot Treat Boxes and filled them with our favorite cheese popcorn. You can see my tutorial for them HERE.
Lastly, I added the adorable Layered Bunny and Carrot Garland and Pink Tassel Garland to the front of my table and set out a few of the Glitter Egg-Shaped Hanging Paper Lanterns underneath. Doesn't it look festive? Best of all, it was simple to set up and the kids really enjoyed it. I hope you are inspired to create your own Easter celebration for your little bunnies.
