In the Pacific Northwest, we love the outdoors. The first thing that comes to mind when throwing a Buffalo Plaid Lumberjack Party is the woods. This party is easy to set up because all you have to do is gather up some old lanterns, wood saws, and other rustic elements. Throw in some buffalo plaid details and you have yourself the perfect Buffalo Plaid Lumberjack Party!

The first order of business is the food and drinks! Lumberjacks certainly work up an appetite! We served our little lumberjacks these darling mini milk jugs full of "Lumberjack Moonshine" aka apple cider. Keep your lumberjack sweet with these "Fresh Berries" served in mini Snap Lid Bottle Favor Jars.
Lumberjacks will want to snack on this Happy Trail Mix. I just mixed together some on-the-go S'mores treats. Make it easy on yourself. The food doesn't have to be overly complicated to be cute.
We also added these wood rounds and plaid cookies from Kyra's Bake Shop. They were a perfect match for this rustic lumberjack party! We also added in a few painted antlers from the Antler Table Tossers. They were fun to just add in throughout the decor. These antlers were the perfect little rustic detail.
I'll admit, sometimes I'm even at a loss for what food to include. I literally went through the store and grabbed anything that matched my color palette or that I could make "rustic." These red velvet Oreos® fit the bill. They looked super cute just stacked on a mini cake plate. Also, I've been eyeing these giant marshmallows for sometime now. You know how much I love s'mores. Did you check out my S'mores Waffle Recipe from my last party? I knew these giant marshmallows would be the perfect base for s'mores. I love the addition of the Mini Silver Appetizer Forks.
If you follow me, you know I am obsessed with donuts. I pretty much look for an excuse to add donuts to any party. These were a super quick and easy addition. Just grab some donut holes and put them on wooden skewers. I filled up a bucked with rock salt and placed the donut skewers inside the bucket.
A party is just a meeting if it doesn't involve cake. This Lumberjack cake is one of my all time favorite cakes from Kyra's Bake Shop. I'm loving the faux birch and the incredible fondant axe. The little mushrooms were the perfect touch too! I am still amazed by this cake.
Sticking with the color palette and the theme, I made Mini Peppermint Fudge. Who says fudge is just for the holidays!? I don't buy into that! This fudge is easy to make and tasted delicious. Be sure to check out my recipe here.
You can always give food or candy away as a party favor. Just tie a little thank you tag on gum or candy and it becomes an easy favor! Plus, I love favors that double as decorations. Adding in jute also adds to the rustic vibe.
Decorations are easy to come by for your Buffalo Plaid Lumberjack Party. Grab some wood logs, some old lanterns, and anything else you might see in the forrest.
These Faux Birch Branch Place Card Holders gave my table just the right amount of woodsy detail. Plus, I paired them with my Lumberjack Grill place cards. How cute is this setup? Now your guests can easily read what deliciousness you are serving them.
Adding wood rounds under cake plates is another rustic touch! These Medium Wood Centerpiece really made it easy to add extra height too.
I'm also loving these White Metal Mini Lanterns. Place them on your dessert table. Just add in a little tree and you have the perfect party detail!
Check out these fun Winter Woodland Lantern Displays. There is something magical about these LED String Lights. Look at how whimsical this setup looks on your dessert table. Isn't it just lovely?
Use one of these Grey Distressed Wood Nesting Trays to group similar objects on your table. These jugs of apple cider look amazing contained together.
I hope you now feel prepared to throw your own rustic lumberjack party! Make sure you check out my DIYs and recipes which include Rustic Wood Garland, Winter Woodland Lantern Display and Easy Peppermint Fudge Recipe.
