Spring will be here before we know it! Do you have a special someone who is getting married? Is their favorite meal brunch? Well, then I have the perfect bridal shower for you. . . Brunch with the Bride.
For our shower, we decided to do a waffle bar. Set up your waffle maker or make a bunch of waffles ahead of time. Grab all of your favorite toppings. Not feeling very creative? That's okay! We have a Free Waffle Bar download just for you! Simply follow the recipe suggestions and you'll have the perfect waffle each and every time!
Our toppings included things like fresh fruit, chocolate chips, and granola just to name a few. We also included several different types of syrups. Powdered sugar and whipped cream are an absolute must have!
Aren't these Mini Square Appetizer Bowls perfect to showcase all of these fabulous toppings?
A party isn't a party unless you have Cake. I thought it would be appropriate to serve a waffle cake. I just made waffles, layered them with whipped cream and dusted the whole thing with powdered sugar. This was super simple to make. I will caution you that I probably should have assembled it after the waffles had cooled because the whipped cream started to melt. It still looked and tasted amazing!
We served delicious maple bacon donuts by Kyra's Bake Shop too. These donuts are the perfect brunch treat. Plus, they are topped with bacon and edible glitter. You had me at bacon!
Kyra's Bake Shop also made these darling waffle cookies that are simply adorable. They are perfect to eat or to take home for a sweet treat.
You can serve your favorite mimosas or opt for something more traditional like orange juice. I served a yummy blood orange sparkling soda in these disposable Gold Rimmed Wine Glasses. It was fruity and delicious!
All of our drinks and toppings fit nicely in these cute DIY Large Wood Trays. The trays come unfinished, so with just a little spray paint and some washi tape, they can be transformed into the perfect little serving trays. The washi tape allows you to add in a subtle color or pattern too. Plus, when you are done with the party, simply remove the washi tape and you are left with the perfect blank slate for your next event!
We also decorated with fresh flowers. Just pick up some flowers that match your color palette. In our case, we used shades of pink roses and white hydrangeas too. We also added gold glitter throughout from the Gold Glitter Table Runner to the Gold Sparkle Glitter Ribbon to make this shower extra special.
Since Christmas just ended and I still have DIY Clear Round Christmas Ornaments laying around, I thought it would be fun to create these Gold Leaf Painted Glass Ornaments. Make sure you check out the full tutorial, here. They look amazing in these Gold Glitter Votive Holders.
We sent each of our guests home with a beautiful Braided Bracelet in these Mini Coral Treat Boxes. With some gold glitter ribbon and some Gold Washi Tape Set, these little boxes got a quick and easy make over that really made a huge difference.
This shower was so pretty and we had tons of fun! Everyone loved being able to make their own creative and delicious waffle too! Your guests will simply love having Brunch with the Bride! Make sure you check out our Braided Bracelet DIY along with our Gold Leaf Ornament Table Decorations. You also won't want to miss our S'mores Waffle Recipe.
