Whether students are starting online or in-person, start your students' school year off with these fun welcome kits! Set them up with all the needed materials to begin the back-to-school season. These kits are perfect for drop-offs or handing out in-person. Bright tote bags filled with lots of goodies will help get students excited and ready to begin a great year!
With the start of the year approaching students and teachers may be a bit more nervous about returning back to school. Whether students are working online or in an actual classroom setting, it's important to welcome them back with lots of love and reassurance. A welcome kit is a great way to make them feel ready, prepared, and excited for the year ahead. All of the supplies in these welcome kits may be used virtually or at school.
The first thing I thought to use for my welcome kit are these great, large bright tote bags. They can hold all of the kit supplies but also any notebooks, papers, or folders the students may need. They are also reusable, so they can be used as book bags or for lunches as well. I also attached a personal tag to each bag with the students' names. You can download the free tag here!
The next item in the kit is a craft the class could complete together on their first day! I loved these Bright Future Hanging Craft Kits. They are nice, colorful, and a fun activity to complete together at the start of the year. If students are learning virtually this craft would be a great way to decorate their at-home learning space to remind them of how amazing they truly are! This adorable wall hanging matches the "Bright Future" glasses included in the kit as well.
With the start of the school year comes new school supplies. Provide a way to help organize students' materials with these versatile pencil boxes. These are great because you can load them up with goodies to help kids be productive and always ready. I filled them up with erasers, pencils, and a few pencil sharpeners. Students can add more to their pencil boxes during the year. These pencil boxes are easy to wipe clean and are very durable! I also provided the kids with these star student stress toys. These are wonderful for fidgety hands and students who may be feeling a little anxious.
Our students are truly stars and it is so important that they know it! These soft, stretchy star silicone bracelets are the perfect reminder. Every time a kiddo looks down at their wrist, they will know that they're amazing!
