He Popped the Question, We're Poppin' Bottles!

It's a champagne campaign to get all your girls on board with standing by you on the most important day of your life! He popped the question, so it's time to pop the bottles of bubbly and confetti and propose to your gals. The beautiful spring color palette and whimsical confetti details of this bridesmaids' proposal lunch will have your besties saying 'yaaas' to joining your bride tribe in no time!

Setting the Scene

Welcome your gal pals with a big pop of color by decorating your space with balloons exploding out of a giant champagne bottle balloon! What could be more fun than light pink, hot pink, yellow, and orange balloon bubbles? We attached the balloons to the wall using Glue Dots, and love how they appear to be floating in the air is if popped right out of a bottle of bubbly!

The champagne bottle balloon was kicked up a notch with a little help from a bit of mint green spray paint, and pink vinyl letters attached to say "pop, fizz, clink". The overall look was enhanced with the addition of a confetti border, which further tied into our color scheme and decorations.

The gorgeous color palette of pinks, mint green, yellow and coral kept the feel of the lunch both playful and fresh. Pops of gold mixed in with mercury glass votive holders and candlesticks helped add just the right amount of sophistication.

A floral arrangement of pink Peonies and yellow, coral, pink and white Ranunculus prove that faux flowers can be beautiful. They looked stunning tucked inside the white vase with gold trim. Glass floating candle bowls held our custom mix of light pink, hot pink, coral, mint green, gold and yellow confetti, along with real wax flameless candles and sat on either side of our floral arrangement.

The Tablescape & Place Settings

Our plates popped off the table thanks to the coral scrapbook paper placed underneath each place setting. These unconventional placemats and the sprinkling of confetti down the center of the table elevated the overall look of the table without the need for a tablecloth.

Nothing in this party was safe from a splash of our custom confetti mix, and our clear square plastic plates looked positively brilliant with the colorful bits added around their rims.

We layered mint green dessert plates and candy pink round dinner plates on top of our confettied chargers and absolutely love how well the colors play off each other. Gold glitter forks and spoons were tied up with sheer pink ribbon. The yellow and white napkins are actually tea towels we found and cut in half. Beautiful, and delicious champagne bottle cookies, baked by Say Anything Bakery, were also placed at each setting and provided a cheeky nod to the party's theme!

The place cards were a cinch to make and were such a cute tie-in to the theme. We printed names onto white cardstock, then added our custom confetti mix with a bit of Mod Podge. Our signature drink for the day, Strawberries and Cream Rosé Cocktail, was served in cylinder champagne flutes and perfectly coordinated with the party's color palette.

Sips & Sweets

Turn mini bottles of bubbly into decor items by tying a color-coordinating straw to each bottle. Bonus points if the bottle's label matches your theme!

You can't have a day of sippin' with your gals without serving a few yummy sweets! We placed fun confetti plaque cookies from Say Anything Bakery on a white cake stand, along with a glass jar filled with confetti.

Sweets topped with sweets are always a crowd pleaser! Store-bought cupcakes look so chic when topped with yummy color-coordinated macarons. Add a little pizazz by embellishing each with a gold glitter diamond pick.

Will You Join My Bride Tribe?

The playful sign that read "he popped the question...we're poppin' bottles" was created by covering the back side of a clear acrylic sign in confetti, then adding vinyl letters to the front. You can find the cut file for your Cricut here. You can also find a printable version. Download the He Popped the Question, We're Poppin' Bottles here! which you could trace onto the acrylic, and then paint onto the front. We filled a gold vase with more of the bright colored Ranunculus for another pretty pop of color on our dessert table.

Ask your besties to join your bride tribe in a whimsical way with a Bridesmaid Proposal Confetti Popper. We tucked them into mint green popcorn boxes along with a gold foil bridesmaid champagne glass and chocolate for good measure!
