Infuse your wedding with vivacious colors and stunning island vibes with this beautiful tropical wedding inspiration. We created our own little slice of paradise by combining a mix of traditional island decor juxtaposed with a few modern elements to design our picture-perfect tropical wedding. Add in a few simple DIYs and a delicious, coconut-inspired cocktail and you'll be on your way to the wedding of your dreams.
The Place Settings:
Simple place settings were infused with tropical flare by creating place cards out of tropical leaves and a white chalk marker placed beneath clear dinner plates.
Vibrant napkins were made from a tropical print table runner and adorned with an azalea flower from the pink azalea floral garland. Rose gold cutlery was added for an elegant touch.
Clear patterned wine glasses were placed alongside clear stemless wine glasses which housed our Pineapple Coconut Mojitos; bringing a taste of the islands directly to our guests' palates.
This delicious mix of pineapple juice, coconut rum and coconut milk is sure to be a new summer favorite! You can find the recipe for this cocktail here!
The Decor:
We brought in a splash of ocean blue by creating a table runner from turquoise gossamer. This light and airy fabric added the perfect pop of color to our chic, white table.
A variety of tropical fruits including, coconuts and papayas were placed atop a faux tropical palm garland and a pink azalea floral garland. This was a fabulous and inexpensive way to bring a bit of the island to our table.
Our DIY Centerpiece Sign served as the focal point of the table and was a simple way to bring one of our favorite quotes to life.
Use our free printable quote template, a white chalk marker marker and an acrylic sign to create one of your very own. You can follow our step-by-step tutorial here!
Our table decor was made complete with gorgeous, turquoise taper candles housed in gold taper candle holders. We loved mixing the modern look of these candle holders with the natural island greenery, fruits and flowers.
The Backdrop:
The DIY Backdrop was one of our favorite elements from this tropical wedding and it couldn't be simpler to make!
We created the base of our backdrop using square faux fern greenery mats and then made poster board letters spelling out "Aloha".
Add in a few painted tropical leaves and you've got one stunning backdrop. You can find our full DIY tutorial here!
The Bar Cart:
A modern, gold bar cart was home to a gorgeous pineapple drink dispenser full of our Pineapple Coconut Mojito Recipe.
This was a fabulous and simple way for our guests to refill there glasses as needed!
We surrounded the pineapple drink dispenser with a few tropical leaf treat boxes and more of our favorite tropical fruits.
