Wedding season is just around the corner and boho table ideas are a beautiful way to incorporate your love of lace, rose gold and flowing linens. Create a lovely table that’s full of texture and soft, muted color by layering different fabrics and patterns. Add just a touch of rose gold and copper to infuse the table with shimmering color. If you’re a boho bride looking to create a charming table for your wedding without breaking the bank, I have some beautiful and inexpensive inspiration for you.
One of my favorite things to do before an event is to "shop my house." Take a look around your home for things you already have to incorporate into your tablescape. I used pillows for seating the guests and thrift store linens for the tablecloth- things I already had! Stacked wood pallets were used for the table and several layers of flowing fabrics dressed it up.
Since the wedding theme was desert boho, I had two of my favorite party friends help create stunning sugar cookies and a gorgeous menu for the dinner. Jen T. By Design read my mind and designed this beautiful menu in the exact colors and style I was looking for. Baby Gabey Cookies created amazing skull and flower sugar cookies that were a huge hit with the guests!
Round hanging globes were filled with polished rocks , succulents and wildflowers. Not only did the globes make beautiful place settings, the guests were able to take them home as favors after the dinner was over.
Wood pattern wedding chargers paired with rose gold edging dinner plates made a beautiful boho combo together. I love the mixing and matching of rustic and elegance in wedding decor and this pairing did just that. I scattered several copper mercury votives on the table to be used as candle holders and mini vases for succulents. The DIY unfinished wood planter was painted and decorated, then filled with vases and flowers. It was a perfect centerpiece for the table that didn't take a lot of time or expense to make. Which is what we all love, right?
Mini naked cakes topped with succulents were quick and simple to make and tied the desert theme beautifully together. I loved the wood centerpiece the cakes were displayed on, it created such a lovely canvas for the desserts. Succulents can get expensive if you're using a lot to decorate with. You can go to your local plant nursery and ask for the clippings. You can get them incredibly inexpensive and sometimes even free!
I used a boxwood garland to drape over the teepee and added a few pillows inside for guests to relax and hang out it. It was the perfect spot to dine and sip on drinks as the sun was setting.
I hope you enjoyed this boho wedding tablescape as much as I did to create it! Be sure to take a look at my Boho Wedding Centerpiece DIY,Glass Globe Place Setting, and Mini Naked Cakes.
