Bluey Birthday Party

Bluey Birthday Party

Throw an amazing Bluey birthday party for your best little mate with these creative Bluey party ideas! This fun party features an incredible cloud backdrop with the Heeler house and a colorful balloon garland. Kids will love the fun Bluey place settings, complete with dog bone sipper cups and “puppy chow.” Lots of tasty Bluey-themed food will be a hit with the kiddos, as will the Keepy Uppy game, dog planter craft, and stuffed dog adoption. Dance on over to this fun Bluey birthday party that the kids will never forget!

Bluey Party Backdrop

Since this was a birthday party for my toddler daughter, I wanted it to be colorful, fun, and filled with all things Bluey!

1

I covered the entire back wall with blue sky with clouds paper that set the scene for the whole party. In many of the Bluey episodes the family is outside with blue skies, so this was perfect!

2

Next, I centered a Bluey backdrop in the middle of the wall above the party table. The backdrop featured the Heeler home with Bluey and Bingo dancing out front.

3

Around the Bluey backdrop I created a colorful light blue, darker blue, yellow, orange, and white balloon garland to create a happy, bright, playful feel, just like the Bluey cartoons.

4

I cut out some of the letters from the Bluey birthday banner and used them to spell out the word “birthday” along the top of my backdrop.

I love how each letter features a different Bluey character!

Bluey Food Ideas

The sky is the limit with all of the Bluey food possibilities that can be served at a Blue party!

5

I put on my thinking cap and watched some Bluey episodes with my little girl (my favorite show of all her cartoons!), then came up with some creative Bluey party food ideas.

6

One of Bandit’s (Bluey and Bingo’s dad) favorite sayings is “cheese and crackers,” so of course I HAD to serve some cheese slices and crackers in his honor.

To make it even more appropriate for a dog birthday party, I arranged the cheese and crackers on a wood dog bone that I turned into a kids charcuterie board.

Isn’t it adorable?!

7

There’s an episode of Bluey where she doesn’t want to go to bed, so she dreams about being a fruit bat that stays up and flies around all night.

This was my inspiration behind our fruit bat fruit platter!

8

I served the fruit bat platter on another wood dog bone turned charcuterie board, where kids could pick their favorites from a selection of blackberries, banana slices, blueberries, and red grapes.

9

We even had puppy chow for our party guests that was served in a clear trifle container.  The puppy chow was made by combining popcorn, blue candy, yellow candy, and  gummy dog bones

10

Bluey and Bingo have a cousin named Muffin who is in a lot of the cartoon episodes, so it was only appropriate to serve BLUEberry muffins at our Bluey party!

11

Snickers is one of their friends who is a dachshund dog, so I made sure we had some tasty Snickers bars for the kiddos to satisfy their sweet tooth.

12

Blue fruit punch, the color of Bluey and her dad Bandit, was served in a drink dispenser for the kids to drink from their adorable dog bone cups.

13

The kids loved that they were shaped just like dog bones with a straw to sip their blue lemonade through.

Bluey Place Settings

14

It just doesn’t get much cuter than these adorable Bluey table settings, with a place set for each little guest.

15

The whole Heeler family is featured on each Bluey plate, while Bluey and Bingo are playing a round of their favorite Keepy Uppy game on each napkin

16

Light blue utensils matched the light blue used throughout the rest of the party.

Darling clear party favor tubes were filled with small blue and yellow chocolate candies for the little guests to eat at the party or save for later.

17

My daughter’s Bluey toys were the centerpieces for the dining table. We picked some of her favorite characters to display.

Bluey Party Games and Activities

To keep the young kids busy and having fun, I came up with some Bluey party games that were a BIG hit with the littles!

18

The first game was Keepy Uppy, the iconic balloon game that Bluey and Bingo play together. It’s basically the game that most kids play where you throw a balloon up in the air and you can’t let it touch the ground. We used a Bluey balloon to make it even more fun!

19

Kids love to paint, so I had an adorable variety of dog planters for the kids to choose from and then paint.

20

I made sure to have an assortment of paintbrushes and paint colors for the kids to use.

It was so fun to watch them create their very own planter masterpiece that they could take home and plant something inside!

21

The final party activity was our dog adoption. The kids were able to choose a puppy from six different stuffed animal dogs, and then officially adopt it, name it, and take it home.

We even made it official with the adoption certificates that came with the puppies. The kids were so cute with their new friends, and they loved coming up with their own puppy names!

Bluey Birthday Party Favor Bags

You can’t have a birthday party without party favors, and our Bluey birthday party favors did not disappoint!

22

The kiddos loved their darling light blue Bluey favor bags that featured Bluey and Bingo on the front, and they loved the toys inside even more!

23

Inside each bag were colorful Bluey stickers, ice pop sidewalk chalk (just like the ice pops Nana spoils Bluey and Bingo with), dog paw clapper toys, darling dog pens, a dog nose, and cute mini water games

24

I hope you enjoyed our Bluey birthday party as much as my sweet little girl did! If your child loves Bluey, then use some of these ideas and throw them an amazing Bluey party!
