We love mixing our fall decor with pops of atypical autumn colors, and this year we decided on bringing in some gorgeous ombré blues punctuated by bold burgundy highlights and touches of chic metallic tones. This stunning Thanksgiving table is perfect for celebrating with family and friends and will look beautiful set up in your home all season long. With our creative centerpiece ideas and elegant place settings, this designer table is truly something to be thankful for!
The Table:
We wanted our table to give off the warm and inviting feeling that is Thanksgiving. We layered our farmhouse style table with an elegant white fabric table runner for a soft and cozy feel. We loved pairing some unique Thanksgiving colors with our rustic style table.
The Place Settings:
Each inviting place setting was set with coordinating floral napkins topped with layered gold and floral dinner plates.
We also added a light blue pumpkin on each plate which coordinated perfectly with the pumpkins in our centerpiece. These pumpkins were set out so guests could write down all the things they are thankful for using a permanent marker. Along-side each place setting sat a utensil wrap which held chic gold metallic utensils. Guests sipped on white wine from chic patterned wine glasses.
The Centerpiece:
We wanted to create a unique and beautiful centerpiece that gave off fresh fall vibes. Pulling from the color palette of our dining plates, we dreamt up this elegant and creative centerpiece that would look perfect on your Thanksgiving table and all throughout the fall season!
In the exact center of our table, we painted DIY Ceramic Pumpkins to create a colorful ombre look in various sizes and shapes. We used an array of dusty blue painted pumpkins and gold dipped pumpkins. Vibrant burgundies from a mix of fresh and faux fall foliage added the pop of color this table deserves.
Oversized pedestal bowls were filled with autumn leaves and painted pumpkins. These pedestal bowls added a mix of height and texture to the centerpiece. The variety of burgundy, orange and gold tones in the mercury glass and copper pedestals really popped against the blue of the pumpkins. We included in a few pieces of cotton for a light and rustic touch. We also incorporated some deep blue tones to pair with our blue pumpkins. For some additional height we added light blue pumpkins to mercury candle stands. Pumpkins were secured to the candle stands with hot glue.
Medium blue pumpkins were nestled into our burgundy fall flora and white gold dipped pumpkins added a modern spin to an otherwise rustic table. We loved creating this elegant Thanksgiving table that blended perfectly with our fall decor!
