A blush, black and gold wedding is both a contemporary and classic palette that will not only look gorgeous on your big day but is sure to stand the test of time. Pairing soft, romantic pink tones with modern black and gold creates an elegant ambiance that will truly set the tone for your event. Add in some gorgeous DIY Suspending Decor, an Elegant DIY Chalkboard and a refreshingly delicious Grapefruit Pomegranate Granita and you'll have the blush, black and gold wedding you've always dreamed of.
The Table:
We set the table with a Black Rectangle Tablecloth and then layered a wide piece of blush chiffon fabric as a table runner. We love the contrast of the light pink against the black Linen.
We wanted to keep the table decor simple and minimalistic to allow the color palette to really speak for itself. We added a coat of brushed gold spray paint to a Diamond Cut Pedestal Dish and filled it with Faux Floral Stems, Faux Cream Rosebuds and Faux Peonies.
We added a light coat of ballet pink spray paint to the Peonies as well. The simple yet chic arrangement was topped with a Black and Gold Table Number adding a lovely, modern touch.
We flanked the centerpiece with two Acrylic Crystal Bead Pedestal Candle Holders that we spray painted in the same brushed gold to match the centerpiece vase. We also painted the matching Acrylic Crystal Bead Votive Holders as added table decor.
The Place Settings:
Each place setting was made up of a gold painted White Scalloped Charger, a Black and Gold Border Dinner Plate and a Black and Gold Border Dessert Plate. We just adore the shape of this charger. It's a great mix of classic and contemporary which is exactly what we were looking for this table setting.
A Black Polyester Napkin was layered between each charger and dinner plate and lovely Premium Gold Metallic Cutlery added a glamorous detail.
Our refreshing Grapefruit Pomegranate Granita was housed in Mini Plastic Pedestal Candy Containers with a Clear Mini Appetizer Spoon and served as a lovely Amuse-bouche. This citrusy granita was so simple to make. We can't wait to make it for future events and change up the flavor depending on the season! You can find the full recipe here.
Clear Patterned Champagne Flutes housed a champagne toast while Clear Patterned Wine Glasses were filled with a dry, sparkling rose'.
The Decor:
One of our favorite elements from this wedding was the DIY Suspended Decor. After adding a quick coat of paint and hot gluing a variety of faux flowers to the Rose Gold Candle Holders, we hung them using fishing line from removable command hooks placed on the ceiling.

Our table sat in front of a backdrop made up of romantic, blush fabric and Ivy Garlands painted a muted, natural green. A black table was home to the signature drinks of the evening which were displayed on our DIY Elegant Chalkboard.
We used the DIY Calligraphy Stencils to add the larger, main wording to the Chalkboard Easel along with a Gold and White Chalk Marker. After adding a few Artificial Flowers our Chalkboard was ready to be displayed. You can find out full tutorial here.
The DIY Elegant Chalkboard featured a his and hers cocktail in honor of the bride and groom. Bourbon and Cokes were served in Clear Stemless Wine Glasses and a fabulous grapefruit Mojito was served in Clear Patterned Champagne Flutes . This table along with the DIY Suspending Decor made for a beautiful backdrop for our event.
