Finding out the gender of a baby is one of the most exciting days for a couple. Sharing that wonderful moment with family and friends at a gender reveal party is such a fun way for everyone to celebrate together! What will that sweet baby BEE?! This buzzing bee gender reveal party is the perfect way to announce the baby-to-BEE's gender!
Set the Scene Set the party scene with a black and white striped table runner and lots of yellow balloons on the floor. Add a yellow net garland, which also resembles a honeycomb pattern, to the party table.
These DIY Buzzing Bee Party Lanterns adorned with bee finger puppets add an adorable touch above the party table. They're so fun because it looks like bees are buzzing around and landing on the yellow lanterns. Check out my post with step-by-step instructions on how to make these Buzzing Bee Party Lanterns.
The DIY Buzzing Bee Party Backdrop was super easy to make out of Hexagon Bulletin Board Borders. The bright yellow hexagon pattern really set the scene for the bumble bee gender reveal party. Check out my DIY Buzzing Bee Party Backdrop post for the full tutorial on how to make it. (Hint: flip the hexagons over and spray paint the backs yellow!)
The Bee Party Food Black and yellow swirl lollipops and yellow rock candy were the perfect choice and matched the bee party perfectly!
I dressed up store-bought mini cupcakes with edible bee decorations (which can be found at most craft stores).
Honeycomb Party Mix was served in yellow popcorn boxes with black bee stripes. For the Honeycomb Party Mix recipe and striped boxes how-to check out my full recipe post here.
The Big Reveal I spray-painted some standard confetti wands yellow and added black electrical tape stripes for the big gender reveal.
When you give the confetti wand a good shake - confetti comes flying out everywhere! Looks like this baby BEE is a girl! Make sure to check out the other posts for this gender reveal party including the Buzzing Bee Party Lanterns, Party Backdrop and my honeycomb party mix.
