Decorative "sugar" on these faux eggs create beautiful, sparkling decor for your home. Paint the DIY Wood Eggs using Apple Barrel® Assorted Colors Acrylic Paint in colors of your choice. I chose dreamy pastels for this project. Once the paint on the eggs is dry, add a thin coat of Mod Podge and sprinkle Iridescent Glitter onto the eggs and cover them completely. Tap the eggs gently to remove the excess glitter. These sparkly "sugar" eggs are ready for your spring decor!

Once the eggs have dried, use a toothbrush to splatter brown paint all over the eggs to create the look of a robin's egg. Next, remove the lace from the Lace Trim Votive Holders and attach the lace to the eggs using Hot Glue. These lovely eggs would look beautiful in a decorative bowl or placed on a mantel along with the rest of your Easter Decor.
