Lately more and more brides are looking to break from the trend of wild bachelorette weekends and instead plan something a bit more creative. This cooking themed bachelorette party is the perfect choice for any bride looking to do just that! Imagine a laid back night with your girls bonding over pink icing and sprinkles. Food brings people together and this cooking bachelorette party is sure to make your bridesmaids closer. Read on to learn how we created this fun night including our DIY Aprons, Cupcake Wrapper Garland, and recipe for sugar cookies.
To create this girly tablescape I first placed a pink tablecloth on my table and layered a gold and white aisle runner over. I love the soft look of the layered colors and the gold flecks on the aisle runner add a fun touch. I made this cupcake wrapper banner to hang behind the table and paired it with a light pink tassel garland and a hot pink net garland. For this cooking party I whipped up this sugar cookie recipe and provided guests with pre-made sugar cookies to decorate. Each place setting included a treat bag with a thank you sticker. These treat bags are perfect for guests to take their cookies home in and you can make a complete favor by also gifting these heart cookie cutters and mini whisks.
I filled the table with trifle containers and tulip bowls containing pink icing, sprinkles, and extra cookies for guests to snack on.
Instead of a traditional bachelorette sash I created this sequin apron for the bride to wear.
