This Vacation Bible School theme will take your students on a trip to Rome to learn about the ancient Romans and their culture, and about their place in the Bible. We have snacks, activities and planning tools! Let's get started!

Scrolls aren't just for reading at VBS, you can eat these scrolls too! Cut a 4-6" length of a fruit roll up. Lay a mini pretzel stick onto each end of the fruit strip. Roll the fruit strip end around the pretzel and roll the fruit strip ends towards the middle. Be sure to download the Free Snack Labels!

Make the Project!
After a full day of adventures through Rome, kids will be ready for a quiet craft. Coloring is a great way to end the day because kids can take home their creation to show what they learned for the day. This coloring page is on theme too! Get the Free Coloring Page here!

With any big project, I create a checklist because it is so satisfying to cross off each item one by one and it keeps me organized. I created an Athens VBS checklist just for you! Print one off to keep in your planner as you organize a fun and educational week for your Vacation Bible School kids. Take a deep breath and let's get started! Download the Free Checklist here!
