I'll never forget the day my students were drawing a self-portrait for an "about me" project. After searching through his crayon box, one of my sweet little boys looked up at me and said, "Mrs. Foxwell, there isn't a color that matches me!" I felt his frustration and while we worked with what we had that day, I knew there had to be better classroom supplies that would represent the beautiful array of skin tones in our world. Our classrooms are beautifully diverse, which is why I love the diversity represented in these coloring tools, papers, and paints!

The hunt for more diverse classroom supplies began with crayons, so when I discovered these Crayola® Multicultural Colors Crayons I was so excited to add them to our classroom supplies! While there are only eight crayons in the pack, it gives a much better variety of skin tone colors to choose from than a normal pack of crayons!

Markers have always been an extra special treat to use in our classroom! They're actually one of the No-Cost Reward Coupons that students can earn. My kids absolutely LOVE getting to use markers for a whole day! I added these Crayola® Ultra-Clean Washable™ Multicultural Markers into our marker bin they can use when they turn in a coupon.
