Ephesians 6:10-18 explains the importance of putting on the full armor of God. I love how Paul uses such powerful imagery about how we can guard ourselves "against the devil's schemes" (Ephesians 6:11). This passage is a lot of fun to teach and is important for even our youngest kids to begin to understand. These activities will help to bring your Sunday School or VBS lesson to life as you teach your students about putting on the full armor of God!

This Armor of God Craft Kit is the perfect way for students to remember each piece of the full armor of God! They can make it during your Bible lesson and then take it home to display. The pieces are adhesive, so there is no mess and each craft kit comes with two options for the hair so that kids can make the person on their craft a girl or boy.

I like to use props when I am teaching! Even something as simple as putting these Knight Set items into a bag and then having students pull them out will automatically up their excitement and engagement! You can use it as an attention getter at the beginning of your lesson or you can use it as a part of your main lesson by pulling out each item as you teach it from Ephesians 6:10-18. (You could also have a student put on the pieces as you pull them out.)

The Word of God is powerful! Paul describes it as the "Sword of the Spirit." (Ephesians 6:17) Your students will love getting to color in their own Sword of the Spirit! (This could also serve as a memory verse for the week.)

I love this Armor of God Necklace, because it can be used in so many different ways. You can have students string on each bead as you teach them about a part of the armor of God. They could also put it together at the end of the lesson as a way to review what they learned, or as part of their Scripture memory or retelling of Ephesians 6:10-18, where they touch each of the pieces as they tell its role. Either way, kids will enjoy making it and wearing it!

Use these Armor of God Pins as an incentive for memorizing Ephesians 6:10-18. After students have learned the verses they can earn the armor of God pin!
