Apple Orchard Wedding Ideas

Apple Orchard Wedding Ideas

Nothing says fall like an apple orchard themed wedding. If you are lucky enough to live by an apple orchard, it will make the perfect backdrop to your fall nuptials. Douglas Farms on Sauvie Island in Portland hosted this beautiful red and teal "Apple of My Eye Wedding". Fall was definitely in the air amongst the beautiful apple trees.

Kick off your "apple-y ever after" by embracing the bountiful harvest of apples. Not only are apples beautiful and versatile, they are also a super affordable decorative element. Incorporate fresh apples and serve up classic fall treats like apple cider, caramel apples and apple cider donuts. What's not to love?

"Pick" Your Seat

Kick off the reception festivities by having guests "pick" an apple to find their seat. Dress a table with the textures of fall, a classic burlap paired with luxe teal velvet.

Tree cuttings, greenery and candles are all it takes to style this statement wall of apples.

On one side of the table use a Large Birch Round Centerpiece to elevate a 4" Bright Teal Cylinder Vase with a White Floating Candle. Next to this place a Galvanized Vase filled with apples and add greenery from the apple trees.

On the other side use a Large Round Wood Slice Centerpiece with a smaller 3" Bright Teal Cylinder Vase and Clear Glass Milk Bottles filled with apple cider.

Apples can be used as pretty seat backs on a selection of chairs or even all of them. Use Bamboo Skewers tied with Red Baker's Twine similar to a needle. Thread this through the center of the apples to hold them together. Tie this to the back of the chair and add a turquoise ribbon bow at each end.
