Make your child's birthday wishes come true with this charming Aladdin birthday party- no genie lamp required! Celebrate a birthday with a magical party that's reminiscent of a far off place where a whole new world is waiting to be discovered.
The Princess Table
Party guests were treated like royalty at the princess table.
A gold tiara filled with sparkling jewels awaited each girl at their place setting. Fancy deep purple patterned glasses and teal napkins fit right in with the party's purple, teal, and gold color scheme.
Gold dinner plates popped when placed on the gold chargers that we painted dark purple. To make the chargers even more fit for royalty, I added large and small adhesive jewels around the edges. Gold utensils were a must for every princess!
Ornate clear bottles with purple ostrich feathers inside represented the large purple feather that Aladdin wore on his cap when he was transformed into Prince Ali by the genie. Did you notice the genie lamp charm I added to the bottle along with a purple tassel?
Two layers of turquoise gossamer made the prettiest tablecloth, especially with a layer of gold scroll fabric over the top.
The Dessert Table
It's just not a party without dessert. Our treat table stood out with the stunning backdrop of Jasmine's palace.
To create the backdrop, I hung purple and turquoise gossamer from a backdrop stand. A layer of ornate gold scroll fabric (the same fabric that is on the princess table) ran down the middle and added a bit of luxury.
I love the gold palace backdrop! To make it stand out even more, I added colorful jewels in vibrant colors across the middle and on each side. The jewels tied the whole party together and can be found on the crowns, on the palace, and on the dessert table.
In the center of the table was a Floral Birdcage Centerpiece that made a statement and was so simple to put together.
Colorful macarons, gold chocolate coins, and large jewels were arranged around the birdcage, ready for snacking.
In front of the gold cake plate was a pretty Jeweled Frame for each princess to make during the party.
The saying inside comes from Disney's Aladdin movie and says, "Like so many things, it is not what is outside but what is inside that counts."
If party guests were feeling lucky, they could rub one of the two genie lamps displayed on the table. I added some turquoise gossamer to the inside of each lamp to symbolize genie.
Chocolate Dipped Cookies were put into Small Cellophane Bags and served as perfect party favors. Be sure to download the free printable tag to make your own favors!
Gold chocolate coins were tucked inside purple organza bags.
I attached metal genie lamps to mini gold tassels then added them to the top of each bag.
An Aladdin party is a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday or any other occasion. With just few supplies, you can create a whole new and exciting world at your next party!
